Picture, if you will, a world where every animal receives the love and care they deserve. Imagine a place where no pet is left unattended, no stray is left hungry, and no creature is left in harm's way. It's a world within our reach, achievable through compassion, understanding, and action. The power to change lives lies in our hands. It begins with a single act of kindness, a moment of empathy, a pledge to stand up for those who can't speak for themselves. We can be their voice. We can be their sanctuary. We can be their hope. So, make a choice today, to extend your hand, to lend your voice, to open your heart. Because every creature deserves a chance, every life matters. This is our world, and they are our responsibility. Stand up for animal rights, and help save lives. Remember, in their world, you are the difference. Make that difference count

Imagine a world where animals aren't just property, where they're given the care, love, and respect they truly deserve. As a little girl in the 90s, a nest of baby magpies fallen, rescued, nurtured. That's where this journey began. Now, fast forward to today, we've turned that compassionate spark into a roaring flame, creating a new reality in the pet industry. We're more than just an animal shelter, we will offer a plethora of services - sales, training, rehabilitation - all grounded in a force-free, holistic approach. Adding to this, there will be a sanctuary for those pets too old to be adopted, ensuring their twilight days are filled with love. And we will be introducing ‘companion for a day' for cancer patients, in future, because everyone deserves a bit of furry love. Ideas for a sustainable future? Yes, we've got them. But we're not stopping there, we're making them a legacy.

Yesterday I was walking this boy and someone said you better have a good hold of him I hate that breed.
Leading example of discrimination on certain breeds because of poor owners choices that made this breed look bad. Stand up for animals today! Be the change , donate today let’s get these “scary” breeds loving forever homes 🐾🐾🩷🩷 let’s make a legacy with Alberta made Pet facility together!

Hey! I’m Tammy, co-owner and founder of Sky’s Legacy.

Past : ever since I could remember I just wanted to help everyone, always loved to see everyone happy. Very much a giver rather than a taker , still to this day. I grew up with a Rottie Shepard, he was such an amazing dog, and my parents , my biggest inspiration for this creation named there plumbing business after him. My parents would always say you can do anything you want you just have to believe, so here I am believing and doing it.
My business is named after our first rescue dog Sky, she was also such a gem, one of a kind, but they all are.
I have been working in the animal and childcare industry for a long time.

Present : currently our first goal is to raise money to help the animals now! This will be part of a non profit our rescue and adoptions, soon it will grow into including more example: grooming, boarding, pet supplies, daycare , info and more.

Future: we will also have a sanctuary for the animals that won’t be able to be adopted, there will be companion for a day as well! So much more!

Can’t wait to share the journey with you.
