He has THE SWEETEST puppy dog eyes 🥺 !

You’re probably noticing those big ol paws and yes he’s going to be a decent sized boy when he grows into those but he is so ready to be someone’s BEST FRIEND FOR LIFE and spend his days by your side as your loyal and protective companion 💕

He was born outdoors and knew his home as a Den in the forest then a culvert by a busy street and now he is so appreciative of what life has in store for him.

SO MANY THANK YOU’S 🙏 💕

It’s crazy to think that our FIRST MONTH has come and gone! To say we have been humbled by the kindness and support from so many is the biggest understatement.

To our friends, family, board members, supporting rescues, fosters and everyone in between THANK YOU for making our dreams for this organization come true ❤️

•This past month we have been able to intake & care for 55 animals 🙌

•We have successfully adopted out 6 animals these past few weeks.

Thank you to everyone who has stepped up to foster for us! If you are interested in joining the foster team please join The RC Foster Placement group on FB!

Thank you to everyone who has donated supplies and funds ! Most recently HUGE THANK YOU to Hope Lives Here Animal Rescue Society for their donation of ‼️ 4 PALLETS ‼️ of food & treats for our animals. Thank you so much to Mr. John Schweer for hauling that donation for us.

Below are a few of our ADOPTED & IN FOSTER animals… those faces all look so cozy because of YOU and we’re so grateful 🥹

In the next little bit we hope to get all our new volunteers trained, finish our website, get our animals out into the community at as many adoption events as possible, start to finalise details on a few of our programs AND FIND A STORAGE FACILITY IN THE LACOMBE AREA BECAUSE WE NEED MORE SPACE!

The beautiful thing about online auctions is they reach so many people and that means ANYTHING really goes in terms of donations. Home decor, handcrafted items, kids items, gift cards or certificates, tickets, pet themed items... so many options. AND if you don't have a physical item you can always send us sponsor money and we can shop for you.

Items can be dropped off at 's Holistic Pet Nutrition in Lacombe, or message us for drop offs in other locations (red deer, ponoka, clive etc)

They are doing SO WELL in the store and becoming social little butterflies 🦋

They can be adopted during regular business hours at the store but we recommend messaging or calling ahead of time.

Do we have any volunteers in the CALGARY area travelling towards us (Red Deer, Lacombe etc) that would be open to picking up a few large wire crates and a bag or two of beds for us ? From a location in the SE?

This half day yoga camp for ages 5-10 will be packed with a Remembrance Day/peace themed yoga practice, games, craft AND a visit from rescue kittens who are in the care of The Rescue Collective. Kiddos will get time to meet and cuddle with the kittens.

These 3 kitties are the FIRST residents in an offsite adoption bank! How exciting ! 🤩

🐱 Lucy & Lemur have already been spayed and neutered and are ready to go home!

🐱 Lindsay is available for adoption BUT cannot go home until November 7th after her spay.

🐾 BRIDGETTE - ADOPT ME 🐾

The longer this girl stays in care the more we fall in love with her 💕

She is just the BEST GIRL!

She is being fostered on an acreage and she is just absolutely THRIVING with acreage living! Yesterday she met some livestock and she did so good, she was nervous but no barking or chasing at all! Her recall is amazing and she loves to hang out on the deck, play in the fields with her bestie and guard the land.

She is SO SMART and learning new tricks! She has perfected sit, shake a paw and a super cute high five 🖐️

Bridgette is crate trained, good around dogs of all sizes, nice to the resident cats, LOVES a good snuggle, is bonding with the resident children and is just such an easy dog to have around 🤗

This girl has been spayed, microchipped, is up to date on vaccines and deworming and is AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!

She will be at Wag's Holistic Pet Nutrition in lacombe tomorrow from 10-4 hoping to meet her new family 💕 Stop by and meet her … and take her home 🏡
