Over the next couple of months, we will be sharing tips to help your pet’s teeth and gums stay healthy & keep your pet’s oral health in excellent condition!

🦷 Did you know that your pet can suffer from dental disease too? By 3 years old, most cats and dogs have some degree of dental disease

🦷Watch out for early signs like bad breath, tartar buildup, and red and swollen gums.

Hi, I’m Bernie!! 😻

I was adopted as a kitten but have sadly been returned at no fault of my own. I suppose there weren’t enough boxes to pack me when my family moved. I’m a friendly guy who is a bit hissy at first but have proved at the cat sanctuary that I can move past that phase.

Our final pup, Ruthie F.I.G!

Ruthie F.I.G is a mixed breed dog who belongs to Laurel, one of our Veterinarians!

Ruthie F.I.G. was indeed “found in garbage” and ended up at a rescue. What she lacks in problem solving skills and long term memory she makes up for in limb and tail length. Ruthie’s excessive upper lip/cheek skin tends to give her a pleasant “double chin” vibe, and is noted to flap gloriously mid zoomies. She enjoys drinking water and breaking into the pantry.

Reuben is a German Shepherd who belongs to Dr. Peter! While he’s still just a young pup, he does enjoy an early 9pm bedtime curled up with his favourite teddy. He loves eating fresh soil and somehow always seems to attract Dr. Peter’s honey bees but they are not his friends….

Maisie is a Border Collie who belongs to Dr. Cindy! Maisie loves long walks, chasing squirrels or rabbits and playing fetch!

Maynard belongs to Megan, who is one of our Veterinary Medical Assistants. Maynard loves to chase birds any chance he gets. He is a poster child for dogs with allergies, but that doesn’t make him any less loveable.
