These small ornaments are right at home any time of the year, whether hanging from a window in your home or from the mirror of your car.
They remind us of the spirits of loved ones that are always with us. Sometimes in our busy lives, we forget those that have shaped and defined who we are. Spirits don't need nests as they live in our hearts, but these ornaments are wonderful reminders; unique, and hand carved with a bit of personality. I love finding them in the dead branches of our local trees!
Children also love these little houses because they know that faeries can live in them and it is very lucky to have a faery close by. They make wonderful gifts for anyone, any time of the year and help spark the imagination.
Each nest is hand turned on a lathe from different types of local wood in Central Alberta All are finished with a safe finish and some are enhanced with pyrography. Each is unique and includes a hand made copper hanger. Nests are $25.00 each or 5 for $100.00 plus shipping

So here's what I'm thinking:
I make stuff and Post it. I say how many hours I spent on the object.
You buy object, you say how much you want to pay for object, (between 15-25$ per hour) plus shipping, pick up if local.
I send 30% of the price paid less shipping to the food bank.

You feel good by supporting the food bank and getting something pretty.
I feel good for supporting the food bank and making pretty stuff.
My wife feels good by having room on her shelves for other pretty stuff.

Urn, Cherry, Maple and Caragana. 147 pieces about a lazy week to make. Roughly 180 cu inches. Lid handle is a tulip from Caragana wood.Finial has been changed.
