A HUGE thank you to each and every one of you who donated in celebration of Deborah's 70th birthday!

🎉 Your incredible generosity brought us SO close to our goal, with a fantastic total of $5870 raised!
We are deeply touched by your support and the outpouring of love for Deborah.
Recognizing her tireless efforts over the past 30+ years is so important to us. As a single woman running her own business and farm, Deborah has selflessly dedicated herself to saving the lives of over 50 horses. Her unwavering commitment and hard work are truly inspiring, and we applaud all that she has accomplished!

Thank you for acknowledging Deborah's remarkable contributions and for your willingness to support our mission. While we didn't quite reach our $7000 goal this time, we are absolutely thrilled with the incredible amount raised and are more determined than ever to continue working hard to provide for the horses in our care.

WE CAUGHT RILEY! 🎉

After what feels like an eternity of patience, persistence, and a whole lot of strategic maneuvering, we finally have Riley safely in our care! For months, every attempt to get close was met with lightning-fast retreats, leaving us feeling disheartened but never giving up hope.
Today, that hope paid off. It might seem like a small step to some, but for us, this is a monumental leap forward in Riley's rehabilitation journey. We know the road ahead is still long, filled with trust-building and gentle progress, but this victory fuels our determination and fills our hearts with so much joy.
Thank you to everyone who has sent positive vibes and support our way. Your encouragement has meant the world.

🐴🎉 Happy Mare Monday! Meet the Wonderful Mocha! 🎉🐴

Let's give a big round of applause for this absolutely lovely lady – Mocha!

🍫 This sweet standardbred mare is estimated to be around 12-13 years young.

🏆 Once a successful racehorse, Mocha's journey took an unexpected turn when she didn't take to breeding. Sadly, this led to her being discarded.

💖 But don't let her past fool you! Mocha is truly one of the sweetest souls you'll ever meet. Her coat is as luxurious as chocolate velvet, and her kind, soft-hearted demeanor has the power to win over anyone who meets her.

🙏 We are incredibly grateful that in the past month, Mocha has gained a wonderful sponsor! While we still hope she finds more sponsors, we are deeply thankful for the love and support she is currently receiving. Every bit makes a difference in her life!

What an incredible day at Okanagan Farm Country! 🥕🐴🎉
We are still buzzing from the amazing turnout at our Easter event! Seeing over 200 of you come out to celebrate, meet our incredible horses, and enjoy some family fun truly warmed our hearts.

It meant the world to us to share our little piece of paradise with you all and show you the wonderful animals we have the privilege of caring for.

What a fantastic day! 🎉

We hosted our very first equine horse handling session today, and it was such a joy! We covered some essential horsemanship skills, including the difference between rope and nylon halters, navigating gates safely, and mastering the art of safe walking and leading.
A huge thank you to our amazing horse, Red, who was an absolute gentleman and a patient teacher for us all. 🐴❤️

We had a fantastic weekend filled with learning and lovely horses! 🐴 Our wonderful volunteers joined us for a grooming workshop, and Savy was the perfect demo model. She absolutely adored being brushed and pampered, and who can blame her? Look at that shine! A massive thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a special day. Savy says she's ready for her close-up! 👑

A Heartfelt Thank You!

What an incredible two days! We're overflowing with gratitude for everyone who made our recent clinic such a success.

A massive thank you to Kristi from Okanagan School of Natural Hoof Care for bringing her amazing students! It was wonderful to share our knowledge and get so many hooves trimmed together.

We were also blown away by the dedication of all the volunteers who came out to hold horses and learn about trimming. Your generous time and enthusiasm made a huge difference.

It was a joy to meet so many wonderful people from all over! We hope you all learned a lot and enjoyed the experience.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who participated! We're already looking forward to hosting another clinic soon! Stay tuned!

🐕Help Piper Walk Again🐾

Even though we are a horse rescue our friends are important to us and we know how much love a family dog brings.

Our dear friends, Jill Thomas and her husband, are facing a challenging time with their beloved dog, Piper. After a tumor removal in January, Piper has developed a serious leg issue, now diagnosed as a suspected CCL tear, requiring TPLO surgery. This major surgery is scheduled for this Saturday.
While they're fortunate to have a skilled surgeon available quickly, the surgery and the long, difficult recovery ahead will be a significant financial burden.
Let's rally together to support Piper and her family!
Every donation, big or small, will help ease the financial strain and ensure Piper gets the best possible care. Your generosity will make a real difference in Piper's recovery and allow her to return to her joyful, active self.
