We are a small farm specializing in the breeding and raising of registered KFPS Friesian horses with outstanding pedigrees, physical qualities and temperaments. Tiffany is a world-renowned horse training hailing from Australia. She is a registered veterinary nurse for large breed animals and has run various horse businesses. Tiffany was a co-founder of an equine assisted therapy program that conti
nues operate and heal traumatized horses and people in Australia. She has been blessed with a natural ability when connecting with horses and respects and loves the horses she trains and breeds. Crystal has loved horses her whole life and is passionate about their health and particularly their mental well-being. Crystal has spent the past 7 years studying at the University of Guelph in the Equine Program majoring in Nutrition. She is currently studying Management of the Broodmare, Stallions and Foals in order to ensure optimum health for our small herd. We are a family owned and operated farm and our horses are cared for at the highest-level physically, as well, we put a lot of love into our animals. At Algonquin Friesians we only breed a few horses per season in order to give them the attention and individualized training they deserve. The calm serenity of the Algonquin area gives them a wonderful environment to be raised. Algonquin Friesians are members of the Ontario Friesian Horse Association (OFHA), the Ontario Equine Federation (OEF) and the Friesian Horse Association of North America (FHANA).
