Intro to grooming

This is Sterling. He is 3 months old. He came in to get used to grooming. He did amazing for his first time.

It is important to make a puppy’s first experience at the groomers as positive and stress free as possible.

Everything in the grooming world is new to them, so, it is imperative to introduce tools slowly and positively.

Eventually, he will be clipped but for today we started with a brush out, bath, blow-dry on a low setting and clean up of face, feet , legs and bum. ❤️

Hello all,

This is Vanessa.

I am back to grooming regularly, just on a bit of a smaller scale for now! I have over 25 years experience in grooming and animal husbandry world and work with many dogs with different personalities ensuring they get the most positive experience possible.

I do believe in “humanity over vanity,” meaning if a dog is badly matted, I will not put the dog through de-matting if it’s beyond a certain point. Regularly scheduled appointments prevent this. It is part of our beloveds general care.

Shannon will be working with me occasionally to help out but has since moved on the pet sitting. Shannon's Pet Sitting Services

I am accepting new clients. I offer a puppy “Intro to grooming” special which eases them into grooming as stress free as possible.

The environment I try to create is as stressless as possible. Each groom is scheduled to be one on one grooming. Each family has their own appointment scheduled throughout the day so that we can maintain a cageless atmosphere and calming space for your beloved furry family member.

I offer brush outs, full grooms on long and short haired dogs, ear cleaning and nail cuts.
