We want to meet your dog! But for now, let us introduce ourselves: We are a small team at Authentic Canine, and we each value the connections we get to create with dogs and their owners in our jobs! Kelsey holds a Certification in Training & Counseling from the Academy for Dog Trainers and founded Authentic Canine Training! You’ll find Kelsey running our Camps and teaching Puppy Kindergarten and other classes. She is also being your resource for any Private or Day Training needs, on location, in your home or out in public! Samantha is a Certified Professional Dog Training through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. She instructs Advanced Life Skills classes and Training Camps! You’ll also connect with Samantha through our Customized Dog Walking & Enrichment Visit services. Emma is our Snack Leader! She has completed the Fear Free Certified Pet Sitter training and is certified in Pet First Aid. As our Snack Leader, Emma aim to meet your dogs physical, mental and social needs during our Customized Dog Walks and Enrichment Visits. She loves to get to know each dogs preferences and quirks!

We love a good snuffle over here! Daisy enjoyed a treat scatter in the grass on her walk and Annabelle checked out a new snuffle mat in her enrichment visit this week. Our walks and enrichment visits encourage lots of sniffing, providing excellent mental stimulation and decompression for your dog.

For ages 8-18 weeks, Authentic Canine’s Puppy Socials offer a safe and fun opportunity for puppies to experience social interactions including slow introductions for shy pups and controlled play sessions for confident pups, with play skill development opportunities. Along with puppy play, these weekly sessions also include exploration of different surfaces, noises and objects. We strive to create a safe atmosphere where puppies are allowed to warm up at their own pace to help them become happy, confident dogs!
