🧡Meet Ezra🧡 Ezra didn’t have a lot of socialization early on in his life. He is still working on trusting people and tends to be shy and reserved, but is hoping for a dedicated and patient family who can bond with him and help him become the sweet and snuggly boy he was meant to be!

Ezra would prefer a quiet home as loud noises or quick movements can be a little scary for him. A friendly resident cat who could show him the ropes would help him build his confidence 🐾

HOME FUR THE HOLIDAYS - next weekend November 23/24 we will be offering no charge adoptions for the critters in our care. Regular adoption process and screening still applies!

During the event we will also be collecting new unopened pet food for the Surrey Food Bank.

Hello animal lovers!
BC is currently in the middle of a major avian flu outbreak, with Abbotsford and Chilliwack being hit especially hard. The avian flu is spreading rapidly through the Canada Goose, Cackling Goose and other waterfowl populations, it has also been seen in Crows and birds of prey that feed on the deceased birds. The virus is highly pathogenic, if you come across a goose or other water fowl that appears sick we advise you to stay away, and to not let pets close to sick or deceased waterfowl. There is a number to call when you happen across dead or dying waterfowl:

Help Feed Our Wildlife Residents! 🐾❤️ We’re in need of pet food donations to keep our animals happy and healthy. Any brand works, but we especially need dry food at the moment. Every bag makes a difference in their care! 🐕🐾
