Happy Birthday to Dr. Anita’s Cayenne
Something to brighten everyone’s day!! I think we all need a laugh right now!
Well I had to try it on my own dog!! Tango has a condition that causes him to have a very dry brittle coat and his hair is also falling out causing bald patches! He needs bathing with a gentle moisturizing shampoo followed by a leave in conditioner every 3 weeks or so! It’s very important for him to have the shampoo on his skin for the full 5 minutes and this peanut butter on the wall trick works great!!
They were so scared of the little toy cars but they couldn't help playing with (or trying to kill) them!
Sorry it took so long to get another video but the cupcake kittens are a little nuts!! They are 7 weeks old tomorrow and completely crazy!! Here's a 5 minute sample of their day! Swirl is doing very well although still on antibiotics as we need to make sure the infection is cleared. She has gained back all the weight she lost and her and Red Velvet lead the kittens in weight at 1 lb 15 oz!!
Cupcake Update!! The whole family is pretty much back to normal!! Swirl is doing very well, she seems to have made an amazing recovery. Of course she still had one more dose of antibiotic, then we have to stop and assess how she does once off the antibiotics, her urine was clear on Monday so here's hoping!
Here is a video of the kittens and Tango. A few hisses from Red Velvet but she wasn't in any hurry to leave him. Swirl is the dark tabby at the bottom of the screen most of the time. As you can see she is looking great and playing well. She is eating on her own and gaining weight too!!
Update on Swirl!
Fever has stayed away and there has been no more seizures!! She is still very wobbly on her legs and is not eating on her own. She tried playing this morning for the first time since she's been sick!! She's not out of the woods yet, but there have been some improvements! She needs to star eating on her own, I'm still syringe feeding her every couple hours but now she's starting to fight me on that too! I got a video of her playing a bit in her bed, yes the purring is her, the meows are her sisters climbing my legs and trying to get my attention 😽!
