Is your cat drinking enough water? Staying hydrated is crucial for their overall health as it helps prevent urinary tract issues and flushes out their kidneys.

Here are some tips on how to keep your cat hydrated:

⭐ Invest in a water fountain - cats are often attracted to running water
⭐ Regularly clean out their water dish and replace the water - cats prefer clean water without debris
⭐ Leave out multiple water dishes in different areas of the house, and avoid leaving them next to their food or litter box
⭐ Add wet food to their diet or add water to their dry food

Did you know? Animals can get sun burnt too!

Most animals have fur to protect them from the sun, but animals with sparse or low pigmented fur can become sun burnt when in the sun for too long. Keep your pet in shaded areas to prevent them from getting burnt.

If your pet does get burnt, please contact your vet before applying any medication or topical ointment.

Last week, we had to make a tough decision to say goodbye to our sweet Lace. Lace, our sassy girl, had been with our clinic for 10 years. Her last day included cuddles from the staff, lots of treats, and bird watching in the park. We will miss you Lace!! ❤️

Miss Athena was in for her spay this week, and Hanna didn't miss the opportunity to give her some love while she was recovering (please ignore the makeshift bandage - unrelated!) She's gotten much bigger since we saw her last...what a beautiful girl she's growing up to be!
