Ally is outgoing, confident and independent! She loves to chase after butterflies and roll in the long grass. She is always eager to cuddle after a full day of play!
Mac is gentle, adventurous and very clever! In fact, she was the first of her litter to discover how to escape the whelping pen. She is also incredibly affectionate and loves having her belly rubbed.

Sometimes
A poem for dog moms
Sometimes life has other plans
And your child is born with four
Four legs to keep you busy
With more hair than you asked for
Sometimes they’re your only child
Or one of two or three
With ears and nails
Eyebrows and tails
All part of one family
Sometimes they get scared at night
And crawl into your bed
Then tuck their cold, wet nose
so tight, up against your head
And just like children,
it’s a struggle
to help them learn and grow
To sit and stay
and run and play
and when to stop and go.
Sometimes you whisper softly
And gaze into their eyes
While other times their angsty screams
Make you want to cry
And sometimes one you didn’t raise
Becomes your very own
You learn to save each other
And become each other’s home
But unlike children,
when it comes
the time to say goodbye
The furry ones
don’t leave your home,
they go up to the sky.
So sometimes there’s a mother
Without the one she loves
Who feels more like she has a child
Looking from above
And sometimes,
just sometimes (if you’re lucky)
Your story starts again
Late night cries
Echo the skies
A song of now and then
Sometimes life has other plans
When labels fade away
Two or four, less hair or more

The puppies have started to wrestle and play with one another. They have lots of energy, but still love to relax in our arms and soak up the affection. We are hoping for some sunny days this week so that we can fully adventure outside (beyond the flower pot)!

We’d like to introduce you to Slate WFL! Born March 20th, 2022 to Tika and Truman, he is seven months old.
A master of all basic commands, he has completed his puppy training. He is eager to learn new tricks and loves going for walks, where he is superb on the leash. Fetch is also one of his new favourite games!
He has been microchipped, neutered and is up to date on all his puppy vaccinations. He loves to run fast, snuggle on the couch and play with other pups.

The pups are 10.5 weeks old, they have their first shots and have been microchipped. They are paper trained and have begun working on commands such as “sit” and “come.”

Have you ever wondered what it’s like behind the scenes of taking the puppies outside?! Well now you can have a sneak peak... Some essentials: 🐶 old clothes 🐶 shoes with no laces 🐶 hair tied up
The puppies went on their first big adventure today! They are now six weeks old and to celebrate, we helped them make the trek from the dog barn to the grass field. This was their first adventure outside and their tails never stopped wagging. Take a look!
Just over a month into 2021 and we have been successfully completing our New Year’s resolution to go for more dog walks! Sometimes the yard just isn’t big enough... Our little trio loves to run free in a large field near our property. 🌾 How have you been enjoying the new year? Has anyone discovered any new tasty treats? 🤔
