Hey, Amanda Straughan here just wanted to offer an update to Sara Rathys page Lady Luck Stables because since the move she’s been too busy & rarely is online.( I have helped with this page for a few years now)
To the friends of Sara & Lady Luck Stables!
Sara has moved to 100 mile house & been crazy busy between the new farm & life to keep everyone updated! She is currently taking courses to further her knowledge & love of horses & hopes to add things to this page soon. Sara doesn’t have a computer at the moment & is often outside caring for her farm & furthering her education.
I just wanted to update those who have supported & follow her adventure with horses!
As her friend & photographer I enjoyed every minute I spent watching her teach lessons & start horses from the ground up with an emphasis on kindness. I had the pleasure of seeing at least 15 horses from day 1 to lightly backed including my own clyde who found a fabulous home because his training was done so thoroughly. I’ve seen Sara teach horses even wild ones to trust humans slowly & always with gentle touch & never rush a horse. Sara is one of the kindest people I know & I can’t wait to see what this new education brings for her & her equine friends!
We miss you Sara & I hope your new farm is everything you dreamt it to be & can’t wait to see what the future holds!
I sure miss capturing photos of the journey fromf young horses learning to trust & watching Sara teach lessons!!
