Miss Violet (Tillie’s sister) is finally in heat after passing her hips & elbows!

🤞we will breeder her (stud pending) in the coming weeks & will have a litter mid Oct with pups ready early/mid December.

The results are in! Rip is the father of our pups.

These CKC poodles will likely lean towards the 'moyen' side in terms of size (30-40lbs).

Come Friday, half of the pups will go to our breeding partner while these four will stay with us until they turn 8 weeks old and are ready for their forever homes.

There's only one issue - three of them are still waiting for their families. I can’t believe they haven’t been scooped up yet!

These sweet-tempered pups are amazing with my kiddo, letting him drag them around like muppets (without harming them). They will make great family or sporty companions.

More puppy firsts!!

The pups went outside yesterday for the first time. They were a bit unsure but did well.

They explored just outside their pen afterward, while I finished cleaning it up.

They’ve also been getting used to a crate in their space with some help from a small human 🥰

Monroe’s Bridgerton Poodles will be 5 weeks tomorrow!

Today they:
🛁 had their first bath
🪒 got their faces shaved (except Lord Anthony as his humans prefer his fluffy face)
✂️ got their nails trimmed

Tomorrow we plan on bringing them outside to play for the first time (weather permitting). ☀️

I used to prefer the teddy bear face on all poodles and doodles. Since bringing Monroe home I have a new found love for a nice shaved poodle face.

Today was DNA day. 🧬

The tests arrived while I was away for the week so today when I got back pups nursed and then were separated as they fell asleep, for 1 hr. Then we swabbed them and sent the tests off to see who the daddy is!

I also clipped their nails and introduced them to the electric tooth brush on their paws, face and then a quick body rub down with it. I use baby clippers to do their toe nails so this gets them used to the vibration of a Dremel and clippers :)

Lady Monroe’s poodle puppies are nearly three weeks old! Allow me to present the little Diamonds of the season:

🤎 Mr. Brimsley is seeking a guardian home, which will permit us to continue spreading the love of Doodle Trails throughout the ton (this arrangement also graciously reduces his fee by a few shillings). His relaxed and content disposition makes him exceedingly easy to adore. (AVAILABLE TO GUARDIAN)

💙 Lord Anthony is patiently waiting for a family to decide if it is the right time to add another pet to their household. Until then, he busies himself by learning to chew on his siblings and then squashing them during nap time. He enjoys laying atop the pile of his smaller brothers and sisters. (PENDING)

💚 Lord Gregory has discovered his voice and is quite vocal when something displeases him, even though he has yet to discern what exactly troubles him. It is likely the absence of a two-legged family to claim him as their own. (AVAILABLE)

💗 Little Lady Hyacinth is a quiet, sweet young lady. Observing her colors change as she grows is a true delight. She is in search of a family to bestow their love upon her. (AVAILABLE)

🧡 Lord Colin is a quiet and content boy like his brother Brimsley. Though he may not boast flashy colors, this little gentleman will undoubtedly be a cherished addition to the family that chooses him. (AVAILABLE)

Our Story

We got our first Goldendoodle, Ivy, from Marsha Ludwig of Ludwig's Doodles, in the Toronto area, in 2004 and our second, Ebony, in 2005. From the beginning we knew we wanted to be part of her breeding program and our amazing journey in the puppy world started from there.

Currently we have Evie, a blonde 55lb F2B, and Georgie, a brown phantom standard poodle, who we also breed for doodles. Our girls are health tested prior to breeding. They have sweet dispositions, are intelligent, eager to please and enjoy training.

As a family we help deliver, raise and love the puppies before they go to their forever families. We are located in the Windsor Essex county area, specifically, Lasalle. Krystina, the oldest daughter, takes care of most correspondence with help from mom, Kim, Emmy and dad, Chris, are also happy to help in anyway they can.

It is a passion of ours to assist in bringing one of the most amazing forms of love to others and we look forward to meeting new families who would like to join the journey with us!
