This east cost trip is a wrap we will head home tomorrow. Dogs certainly enjoyed themselves as did I. Last weekend at Sunpoke midge went 2 for 2 in master as did star and Gus was a bit silly the Saturday and then played the game by my rules Sunday to earn his 3rd senior pass.
Then this weekend Gus decided to be a silly boy again on Saturday and then was a good listening boy today to earn his senior title today!!
Midge and star both worked very well yesterday to each earn another pass but today midgey had some of her own plans for the water blind ( I maybe should have given a few more casts) and star well did everything till the last 5 seconds of the water honour and decided she wanted to go for another swim.

Brave!
Brave heads to her forever home today. Brave came to me in the spring looking for a home after some training she gets to meet her forever family today. She will be back for more training later on but for now good luck brave and enjoy the new home.

A bit too much humidity mid day for dogs so we move into the AC and work on some basics for these hunting dogs. Staying in their dog blind and basic obedience and hold for Ruby who has just came in for training

We want to remind everyone to have a fun filled weekend out with their dogs. A day out with your dog is a great day no matter a ribbion at the end of it or not but ribbons just make it a bit better

Hunt test season had started for us this year and…
The crew did great and showed that all the training is paying off. We have been working hard with client dog Gus and this weekend it paid off for sure he earned his first two senior passes. Then we have the mighty midge my trusty truck dog earning 2 more passes towards her grand putting her at 3 and star earning the first two passes towards her grand. Was a great and fun filled weekend away!!
It was a well organized test by the Moncton retriever club and even good test weather minus a few showers that didn’t last too long.
Back to home club this weekend to see what the doggies can do.
But for today long drive back to the kennel.
