hi pet parents & furry friends!

we just wanted to let you all know ahead of time that we will be taking a much needed vacation from September 15-28, 2024.
phone calls, text messages and emails will be returned slowly but surely when we return back to the office. so get your bookings in for before and after the vacation!

but don’t worry - we’ll be back to serve you well rested and better than ever!

hi friends. i have a client of mine who with the saddest hearts has to rehome their sweet Monty. please share or think if anyone you know could give him a loving beautiful home 🤍

a message from his mom sarah:

We are looking for a loving, forever home for our boy, Monty. He is a 4 year old Jack Russell cross who loves being around his family, whether it is hanging out inside or outside, going for walks, or visiting the beach. Monty is trained for off-leash adventures, finds comfort in his kennel, is house-trained and does not chew, very obedient, and is great in the car. Trips to the dog park and daily off-leash pack walks displays Monty’s love for playing and interacting with dogs big and small.

It is with great sadness that the recent arrival of a baby into the family has left Monty feeling very sad and distant. Due to the current living situation, we are unable to provide him with enough space away from the baby for his comfort. He would do great in a household with older children, with or without other dogs, and no cats.
Monty is neutered, has no medical concerns, is up to date on his vaccinations, and receives monthly preventative treatment for worms, fleas and ticks.

it is with the heaviest hearts that we send another one we love over the rainbow bridge today - one who was taken far too soon.
ellie was one of our very firsts and our hearts are shattered at the news of her untimely forever sleep. she was as sweet as she was fluffy and soft and we loved her like one of our very own.
her mom and sisters were the lights of her life and she will continue to watch over them happily.
we miss you already miss ellie - you’re always in our hearts 🤍🕊️

Hey pet parents! just an update! We had a little bit of flooding last night and a big puddle in the yard this morning, but all of our pups are still well and thriving! Caygeon wanted to pop in and say happy Monday!

Caygeon is one of our more high-energy friends. though he’s energetic and excitable he never has to worry about leaving us with any pent up energy.

we spend lots of time outside playing and walking to our hearts content. even though he’s an off-leash boy, he tries his best when the leash has to come out to keep him safe.

we love our time spent with this sweet boy! 💛🐾

Just wanted to drop in with some information regarding our Summer schedule!

We will be open and happy to serve you almost all Summer.

The only time we will be closed is the 15th of August until the 22nd of August.

We will be celebrating the marriage of my sister and her fiancée on site - and as much as I love all my furry friends, we’re trying to keep the noise to a minimum!

everyone meet Coleslaw & Mojito! these two crazy kittens were a joy to have at Boarding & Belonging.

Coleslaw is one of the most loving, cuddly cats i’ve ever met and i loved holding him close every day.

Mojito, though a little skittish at first, grew to show me her warm heart and we became the best of friends.

i look forward to getting to know your crazy pets in the near future!

I want to extend my apologies and an explanation to all of my clients who have been attempting to get ahold of me this past week.

The light of my life - my grandmother - passed away this past week and I have been busy being there for my mother and family, as well as allowing myself time to heal.

I promise I will be back to answering your messages in just a few days and I will be happy to book your animals in for a fun stay with us.

saying goodbye is never going to get easier.

we lost sweet Tiger a couple weeks ago.

even though he was a fairly wild cat, he still had his own special ways of showing love.

i loved caring for him and his twin sister Simba. she’s been very lost without him, but don’t worry buddy, we’re taking good care of her.

i miss you buddy, rest easy💛🐾

this mother-son-pittie-pair came to stay with us this past month and they were incredible!

they are perfect examples of the common misconceptions surrounding the bully-type breeds.

not only were these two some of the friendliest pups i’ve ever encountered, they were so full of life and wanted to give you nothing but their purest love!!

for those who are confused and concerned, I’d like to give an update.

Boarding & Belonging is the name of my kennel and pet sitting business. we are formerly “Kassidy’s Pet Sitting & Animal Care”.

as the business has grown and changed over the last year and a half I think this name is more well-suited for what we want to represent.

our services and everything we do remains the same. however, i just though a little bit of a rebrand was necessary for us to grow as a business and family.

i’d like everyone to meet Autumn and Stella!

i had the pleasure of caring for these two beautiful girls and trust me they do not disappoint!!

though Stella may look big and tough, in reality she is the sweetest little love bug and will lick you to death so you understand just how much she loves you.

and Autumn, though timid and shy at first, is such a lovely little girl who just wants her belly rubbed and to sit by your side no matter what you’re doing.
