So you think you want a fluffy, hypo-allergenic, high-maintenance dog? But don't want to spend the time brushing daily or grooming every 2-3 months? Re-think your choice! There are many short-haired breed dogs that would benefit your lifestyle & income.

In my 19 years of grooming, Trigger, this little Maltese, was the worst I have seen in the form of neglect. Not only was he severely matted, he had hundreds of burrs wrapped around every or***ce so that he could not eat or bark, see or p*e or p**p properly. Please people, do your research, talk to professionals in the dog industry & select the best type of dog for you!

Today was the day to make our donation to the Lethbridge & District Humane Society from the proceeds collected from Puppy Love Portraits. Along with the food & treats purchased from the proceeds, I personally donated blankets, leashes & collars & a pet bed that are no longer used.

The next pet charity that we will be collecting for from our Pet Portrait Program is Windy City Canine Rescue. Your dog (under 50lbs) will have the opportunity to pose for a portrait for $12 after their groom - $5 of that is for the charity. Our theme till the end of the month is 'OH Canada'

It looks like Spring has finally Sprung! In the mean time, we have been doing our Spring Portraits indoors after the their Pamper. Portraits are $12, with $5 going to a local Pet Charity (which right now is the Humane Society)
