As people may have more Vitamin D supplements in their home during the winter months, be sure to keep it out of reach of your pets. Vitamin D supplements are toxic to cats and dogs.

Take a look at the most common signs of Vitamin D poisoning (which can sometimes take hours to manifest). If you think your pet has ingested vitamin D, you should take them to your veterinarian or nearest emergency hospital right away.
