UH OH! Guess what is out on the prowl.... it is Tick Season! We found this bad boy on a dog this week that came into our clinic. Did you know that fleas and some ticks are capable of transmitting infection and disease to your pets through their bites? Many cats and dogs can also get severe allergic reactions from them. In order to keep your pets safe make sure to thoroughly look them over after being outside, especially when you are in long grassy areas, woods, etc. Ticks do tend to hide in areas such as between the toes, under the armpits, under the tail, and other places that are more secluded.
