If you are going on a road trip with your pet, make sure someone is with them at all times. Consider having an outdoor picnic in the shade at a rest stop or take turns going into the washroom instead of leaving your pet alone in the car as they can quickly become overheated.

We had a staff Slurpee day to beat this heat!

Remember to keep your pets safe in this hot hot hot weather with the following tips:
-Never leave your pet in a parked car! Temperatures can raise to dangerous levels within minutes of being turned off
-Provide ample access to water and shade for your pets
-Limit walks and activity
-Keep your pet cool both inside and outside
-Don't rely only on only fans to keep your pet cool -- they cool themselves in different ways than us humans do!

Stay cool out there!😎
