Oh look, someone is taking doggo classes to stay sharp (he was sharp as a crayon tonight, and another dog touched his face and hydra was like....ewww gross but was a very good dog and didn't do anything) It's okay Hydra we get it, everyone has off days.

Our trainer had a hard time getting a good photo because he always folds his ears back when she takes a picture and he looks like a seal. 🦭

Sorry we haven't been posting as much- I had some pain shots right before the tournament that triggered more migraines and worse pain in my neck than I had before. The shots to the neck were an experiment to see if it would help, and I'm pretty certain they do not.

Anyhow between that and regular life, and trying to go through 3k photos that I took I've been a bit busy. I had a few people request photos from me which is great, it's extremely hard to get 'known' as a photographer and even harder to make a living from it (spoiler alert I will likely never be that popular LOL)

Here's a photo of one of Jon's near death experiences ringside taking photos, him and another spectator got real close to the action. Jon arguably had the better position to get really cool shots, but it was also a bit dustier and more hazardous lol. Hydra and I got the high ground this time around so I could set up a dog bed and blankets for him, and a chair and table for me to sit at while taking all these cool shots.

Exciting day!!!!! We ordered some custom patches from Humble Dog and they arrived and are super cool. We have plans to make a few vests for Hydra including a fancy tabbard style thing for events (it's called a caparison if it's on horses so probably the same if it's a dog???) Anyhow, we have plans!!!

The amount of times they have recorded what I am telling them down wrong and then I pay for it when the next doctor reads the mistake and takes it for gospel. It's frustrating and once they have written something in your chart it stays there forever no matter how much you fight to have it amended.

Trip to Home Depot! Jon wants to make a shield and while we have plenty of wood we don't have wood glue. Last time I bought wood glue it was really cheap and was apparently a long long time ago because... Holy crabapple it's expensive. We are going to wait on buying glue ... might have to win a lotto or something

Back at the most boring place on earth, the doctor's office. This time it was to see the physiotherapist. Then we went to thrift stores and princess auto where he got to see his favourite person even though he acted like she wasn't, lol. What a doggo, now he's breaking hearts..

Armouring day!!! Jon is still making a suit of armour, and currently he is using some armour he got for cheap that doesn't fit him, or anybody well...lol. So he needs to bend and hammer it into shape. It's loud and chaotic and the shop has all kinds of smells. Hydra and I usually spend armouring day with Grandma, but she needs to go to bed earlier due to work so then we hop over and hang out with chaos for a bit before heading home.

Let's play a game!!! I got this waterproof rug off of Temu for Hydra to sit on in public to protect him from the floor... as I was sitting at the doctors office waiting I couldn't help but notice the patterns.....
