We are back from our AMAZING weekend at ! Our feet are up, our bellies are full and we are feeling very grateful for all the support we got from everyone we met! It was wonderful meeting so many interesting and talented people and it was so great to see old friends! Thank you to all the organizers and everyone who makes the Ottawa Mini Maker Faire the successful event that it is! We will be sure to be back again next year! :)

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW! never ceases to impress! We had a BLAST at day 1 of the Ottawa Mini Maker Faire! So much to see, and do and so many incredibly interesting and inspiring people to meet! Thank you everyone who came to our booth today to buy some JRC swag and all those who came to learn the fun art of needle felting! I can't wait to see what tomorrow will bring!

We are very happy to announce that thanks to you and your purchases of our special pollinator button rings as well as the 10% off all other regular purchases of our handmade jewelry and accessories, we raised 30$ for the Canadian Honey Council's Bee Research fun!!! A HUGE THANK YOU to all who came out yesterday to the Capital Pop Up Handmade Show to show your support for local artisans and our chosen charities! Save Our Bees

At my next show-- the Capital Pop Up Handmade Show, 10% of our sales will be going to a charity of our choice. Every vendor will have chosen a charity that is special to them. So when you buy locally handmade, you are really putting your money towards 2 important causes-- supporting handmade and buying directly from the maker AS WELL AS helping out a charity. My charity of choice for this show will be to the Canadian Honey Council's Canadian Bee Research Fund. We all know our bees are in a baaaad state. So help a bee out! OOAK mixed media mini painting rings! These are part of the same line of mixed media pendants I began making in January of this year.

Each ring has been carefully coated with resin and set in an adjustable ring bezel which is adjustable.

Ring base: base metals (non-hypoallergenic) but can be coated with resin upon request.

We had a lovely day at our first sale of the season! It was nice to see fellow vendors and old acquaintances. That's what I love about craft shows! A big thank you to everyone who came out and stopped by our booth to chat and get some swag. And an extra big thanks to all those how helped literally hold down the fort during this very windy day. I'm especially looking at you Country Rune and Hedgie Dreams! Best neighbours ever! ;) xo

Happy Halloween gals and ghouls! This is by far our favourite time of year! So much so, we decided to "tie the knot" with a Samhain Handfasting in 2009! Great spot about this past weekend's Ottawa Geek Market event! We are very proud to be a part of this fantastic event each year and we are happy to help support a very important cause. :)
