~this months lineup~

🐴Tuffy - he went home last week! He was with me for 3 months and I feel like he’s going to make a wonderful horse for his owner!… he was here to get started under saddle.. he gave me a run for my money, but he also weasled his way into my heart and I’ll never forget him or what he taught me🙃

🐴Hapaco - this wildie sweetheart has been with me for just over a month now and he’s here for another few weeks!…he came to me with 3 months of training and just needed miles.. he’s also available for adoption and I’ll have a post up with more details on that soon! He needs lots more miles and he’s going to need an experienced rider, but he’s such a dear❤️

🐴Cactus - this gorgeous mare came to me almost two months ago, untouched and terrified of everything!…she’s been with me for 1.5 months now and she’s slowly getting quieter🙂her future is simply to be a broodmare and her owners just want her to be safe to handle!

🐴Kate - this striking mare has been with me for the better part of a month now and she’s slowly coming around! She’s 12 and came to me needing miles and some life experience🤓…she was really skittish and spooky but she’s made a lot of progress which is so awesome to see, especially with these tough older ones!

🐴Juniper - this stunning little palomino came to me almost two months ago also untouched and scared of her own shadow and everyone else’s too😅…she’s starting to catch on that not everything is out to harm or destroy her which is so rewarding to see 👏 she’s going to be with me for a bit yet, and the plan for her is definitely to be a riding horse🏇🏻

🐴Foxy - this adorable 3 year old has been with me a month!…she came to me to be started under saddle and I have about 15 or so rides on her…she’ll stay with me another month… she’s so much fun and has a ton of personality! She’s up for sale so I’ll have a post up with more details on that soon🤩

🐴Jinx - this chunky little sorrel is as fun as he is cute! There’s nothing like a lovely steady sorrel am I wrong??…he’s only 3 and he’s also here to get started under saddle…he’s going to be fun and definitely will keep me on my toes 😁🫣

CONDITIONAL TERMS OF GIVING CREDIT

Call me the queen of the misunderstood and tell it like it is. I find it very interesting when horse trainers get butt hurt because they feel entitled to the information they teach and they get bent out of shape if they don’t get credit back from their peers. Yeah I’m going to get some lash back but hear me out.

There truly is no claim to methods in reason. We are all our own collaboration of EXPERIENCES. If you feel the need to credit someone, by all means do it. But on the flip side, why are trainers threatening others that if credit is not given, then you’re poser? A poser is someone with no understanding of the material. Sounds conditional doesn’t it? Putting out vibes like a taker than a giver. “I will give you this, if you give me that” mentality.

I’ll be completely honest. I could care less if someone credits me for anything I’ve ever taught them. I mean it. I’m not setting out to be the best horsewoman in the world. I am a collaboration of my experiences which includes many trainers, horses, and many moments of life on the back of a horse.

My gift is to share my unconditional love to others. My life, my horses, my kindness, my authenticity, my experiences to people and horses that may not have had opportunities like I have. My joy does not come from name drops. My joy is hearing the excitement of my clients voice and their first ride at the beach. A post that my client had an unforgettable girls weekend with her horse that I started. Or I go to the clinic and see 4 horses at that clinic that I have trained and they look great. No one gave me credit, nor do I care. They are happy, therefore I can rest at night knowing I’m following Gods plan. And if you’re a professional being mocked for burning bridges, thank them. They just redirected you to a very clear path to success. Dont weaken.

Yes I do train all winter long!! If you have a horse that needs upkeep throughout the winter or a young one that you’d like to have started before the nice weather hits, give me a shout!😄😊… I’m also very happy to have you come out and watch me work and see my facility before you make a decision. I know if I was sending my horse away, I would want to know they were going to be in good hands!…and if this isn’t possible for you, I have lots of videos on my Facebook and Instagram accounts that you can watch!

❤️🐴Ike went to his forever home yesterday, but since it’s so close by, I brought him there since I was dropping off another horse as well!…. It’s bittersweet but he’s going to have an amazing life because he’s already loved by his new owner👏😍…anyway I just felt like Ike needed a goodbye post because he was a huge part of my life for 3 months and I’ll always be grateful that and gave me this opportunity!!…and of course to for becoming a new (but feels like old🤩) wonderful friend and fellow trainer!!…Ike and I wouldn’t have done as well as we did without you and Icon🥰I hope to work with more wildies in the future and don’t worry I’m sure you’ll hear about it if I do🫡😅

And of course thank you to all who helped me along this journey I couldn’t have done it without the support of my friends and family!! I love you all ❤️

First time checking cows with Ike🐴❤️🐮🐮…he’s pretty handy!👏…to be fair, he probably spent long summer afternoons on the range in his wild days, chasing cows for fun, seeing how many he could round up at once🐮

When you mix photography skills📸, drinks🧋, and pretty ponies🐴 you get this 😁…mostly I wanted a drink from the coffee shop so I convinced the lady that an evening of taking pictures would be the most epic way to spend her time…Tom Sawyer would be proud…getting someone to work for me and then making them think that they’re getting the best end of the deal😂👏…oh wait I’m pretty sure she saw through that 💩…. She always has been able to see through the gray fog that is being friends with me🥸….
