Took a track on Saturday and recovered a doe. Unfortunately, she was partially eaten by coyotes.
Deer was shot on Friday at 1500 h with a X-bow from a ground blind. Dropped and crawled on her belly for ~30 yards, then got up and ran off. Hunter tracked with a friend and an untrained dog for 200 yards, lost blood and called for assistance. Argo and I arrived in the morning.18 h old track. Deer was recovered about 500 yards from hit site. Gut shot.

Had a tough week tracking with one recovery and two long tracks that were progressed very well but deer not recovered.
One track was called after 2 km and the other after one km because we didn’t have permission in neighbouring property.
