Beyond Question WSH is by Benicio (Belissimo M) out of premium mare Quater Twist WSH (Quaterhall/Glorioso Noir) via embryo transfer. At his Hanoverian Inspection he was Reserve Champion dressage foal, won Gold Medal status, and was named one of the top 10 Hanoverian foals in Canada winning an Albert Kley award!

In addition to be a spectacular mover, with a beautiful expression, and correct conformation, he has the kindest, most sweet and easy temperament you could ask for. This boy is the whole package!

The weather is finally cooperating, and the little guy had his first solid day of turn out, and first day in the paddock. He was loving stretching his long legs and galivanting around. This boy has such an inquisitive nature, sweet temperament, and he is calm and confident. I'm very excited about the future for this boy! 🖤

The weather hasn't been cooperating too much for much turn out, but the handsome little man has had some time outside, and he is unfolding beautifully. He is already such a sweet and smart guy.

A new addition is always such an exciting time at a breeding farm for the other horses. They are such a tight family, and new foals are always immediately accepted into the group. The herd was very excited to get their first glimpse of the new guy

With the spring like temperatures out there I'm getting excited about foaling season!! I also can't wait until everyone is shed out and looking fabulous!

First up is Wruby with her Cadeau Noir foal, full sibling to our black filly Corvina Noir. She still has some time, likely mid to late April until she foals 🖤

These lovely young ladies are doing so well under Krystin Anderson! They are both 3 year olds, who were both lightly started mid summer.

The pretty chestnut is Belissima WSH by Belissimo M/Wellesley/Rotspon, bred by myself, owned by Kevlynn Sacrey.

The beautiful black mare is by Sir Wanabi, bred by Sandra Laprise, owned by Victoria Creighton

We are so fortunate to be able to ride outside in great footing in the second half of November!!

I'm very behind on my horse related updates lol!!

Unfortunately at some point in the winter Wruby lost her Secret foal. So for the first time in 13 years, we don't have any foals running around! We are disappointed, but Wruby is well, and back in foal already. We decided to repeat the cross of her beautiful 2022 black filly Corvina Noir by Cadeau Noir! We've retained her 2022 filly because of her quality as a future breeding and competition mare, but the 2024 version will be available!

She is now confirmed 90 days pregnant, and due the end of April 2024.

If you look closely in the video you can see the foals hear beating 💓

My breeding season is much later than usual this year, life has been a bit distracting!! But last night was super exciting, I retrieved my first embryos on my own, from a frozen breeding I did last week.

My star mare Quater Twist WSH triple (triple!!) ovulated and I was able to find 2 embryos from 1 uterine flush.

Fingers crossed one or both stick in the recipient mares, but even if they don't I'm thrilled to have gone through the process successfully.

These embryos are what a 6 day old embryos looks like ♥️

The handsome Verkade WSH is growing up and feeling great! He is by Von und Zu out of Godiva WSH. He has some impressive stallions in his pedigree invluding Vitalis, Floriscount, Glorioso Noir and Ehrentusch ❤️

We only have 1 foal coming for 2023, but this one is going to be spectacular! Our top producing mare Wruby (Wellesley/Rotspon) is in foal to the legendary stallion Secret (Sezuan). Wruby has had many top foals making the esteemed call back ring, and one named one of the top 10 Hanoverian foals in Canada.

For those who aren't in the breeding world, Secret has been a top producer, but unfortunately he will not be available to North American breeders for at least the 2023 season. They have stated due to staffing shortages they will not be standing any of the stallions at the stallion station he is represented by. So this means that there will likely be a shortage of available foals from this popular stallion.

If you've been thinking of buying one, now is the time. We've been fortunate to have 2 previous Secret foals, and both have outstanding temperaments, and well above average movement. The c**t option is available.....it will be very hard to convince me to give up the foal if it's a filly 😆

One of the first foals in North America by the incredible stallion Von und Zu!!

Von und Zu is an impressive young stallion! The Hanoverian stallion Von und Zu became the high scorer of the 50-Day Stallion Performance Test which concluded in Schlieckau on 30 November 2021. The 4-year old led a field of 36 participating dressage stallions, the majority aged 3 and 4, and scored a total of 9.17 points.

Von Und Zu (by Vitalis x Floriscount) is owned by the Celle state stud. He scored 9.25 for character, 8.5 for walk, 9.5 for trot, 9 for canter, 9.5 for willingness to work, 8 for jumping, 9.5 for general impression and 10 for rideability under the test rider. The future is bright for this young stallion.

Godiva is a big impressive mare by Glorioso Noir out of an Ehrentusch mare. She is confirmed 3rd level, schooling PSG. She has an affinity for the collected work, and has started half steps and canter pirouette work. Godiva is the kindest mare, and very easy to work with, always wanting to please her rider. Her foal should be a very amateur friendly foal, with potential for a professional.

Both Godiva WSH and Von und Zu are tested and negative for WFFS.

Verkade looks just like his sire, and is more refined than Godiva. Verkade is an exceptional mover, with an elegant look to him. He is a kind, inquisitive, and easy foal to work with. Verkade WSH is registration with the Hanoverian Verband.

We are very happy with how the kids did this year at their Hanoverian inspection!!

Beyond Question WSH by Benicio out of Quater Twist WSH (Quaterhall/Glorioso Noir, via embryo transfer to recipient mare Gracie) had a great day with many compliments from the judging panel. He was awarded Gold Medal foal and finished Reserve Champion foal!

Corvina Noir WSH by Cadeau Noir out of Wruby (Wellesley/Rotspon) also had a great day! The inspecters were impressed with her movement, but would have preferred if she had a little more feminine of a neck set....rather than having her sires neck! 🤫 don't tell her she looks like a c**t!!

Unfortunately momma Godiva was foot sore and so we made the decision to scratch her foal Verkade WSH (Von und Zu/Glorioso Noir/Ehrentusch). We were disappointed we couldn't bring him, but he will be registered at a later date.
