Pet Save Cats Available for Adoption

In the year 2000, a few animals lovers got together and formed a small association called Pet Save. They were a committed group of people who appreciated the value of animals in their lives and just wanted to help a few dogs in need of a second chance. Originally Pet Save only rescued dogs but by 2002, recognizing they lived in a community with a severe cat overpopulation problem, they began to ta

ke in stray cats. Operating on the principle that all life is precious, they were proud that they were the only “no kill” shelter operating in this community.It was shocking to learn how many family pets were seen as disposable and how many ended their short lives in local pounds or on our city streets. The need for this rescue group was overwhelming and in 2003, they became a registered charity. The first few years were overwhelming as it was very hard to hear a sad story and do nothing about it. Pet Save quickly grew to over 200 volunteers and today we, Pet Save, are still 100% volunteer and proud of our “NO KILL” policy. We have saved over 2500 cats, dogs, bunnies and even a few pot-belly pigs along the way.We continue to grow each year and hope one day there will no longer be a need for rescue groups like us. Until that time, we remain committed to helping the homeless animals and educating people on proper animal care so we may reshape the next generation of pet owners.At Pet Save, we believe every person has something to offer a homeless or orphaned animal and one person at a time, we can make a difference! ““The Greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated”.-Gandhi

Flower 🌸 and Taylor 🤎 are 5 months old and patiently waiting for their forever homes 🏠.

Flower 🌸 (top right) is a sweet affectionate girl, who loves to play and cuddle (she's not picky, she will cuddle humans, dogs or cats 😉).

Taylor 🤎 (bottom right) is a curious kitten who likes to know what you're up to. She is a cuddle bug who loves
attention and food 😆.

Both kittens are very well socialized with dogs and other cats. Foster mom says they are "bundles of joy" 🥰.

Pumpkin 🎃 (top left) and his sister Spice 🧡 (top right) are in the market for a forever home 🏠.

They are both very playful and a little sassy 😉. They love their foster brothers and sisters, the four legged and two legged kind 😆. Great with kids!

Meet Kiwi!! 🥝
Only one of our most affectionate cats ever! 🥰.

Kiwi arrived in June from a house full of abandoned black cats. She knows that black cats are the least likely to get adopted 😞. Somehow, Kiwi 🥝 manages to get right in your face to make it quite literally impossible to overlook her!
