Wild caught gold tetras are so bright & peacefully. The domestic ones are not nearly as nice due to something missing from their water when they hatch. These are great community fish.

A couple larger axolotls that are now ready for new homes. They are feeding well on our new Sera axolotl wafers. We stock a few different dried foods to vary your pets diet without using feeds that can spread unwanted bacteria to our axolotls. There are no retail legal medications for these guys & most other cures are very hit & miss.

Tried our large vitalis pellet in the guppy tank. If it worked for bettas it should be enjoyed by guppies. You be the judge.

Female bettas & black ruby barbs aggressively feeding on some sinking pellets. They make a nice active tank with minimal amounts of fighting.

Plecostomus are a very diverse group of fish of all sizes & feeding habits. Some grow to 3 ft long & others only reach 3 inches. Some eat algae, some eat wood, some eat meat & combinations of every type. They are identified by L numbers & not common names for proper identification. These pictures show most of the ones we stock but a few weren't very photogenic. We currently have Lda31, L104, L519, L190, L47, & then we have hypostomus laplatae the cold water pleco. We also stock a variety of snails & otocinclus to help clean small tanks.

Tomorrow is fancy female betta day & 6 new kinds of plecos in very limited numbers. Until then here is a video of a few bumblebee gobies. A very curious & cute fish after it adapts to a small peaceful tank.

A fellow looking for some larger fish was looking for some pictures of our albino pacus & tiger shovel nose cat. Not good pics but it shows their size & great condition.
Maybe they would look good in your aquarium?

A few new axolotls have arrived & I changed my mind on a couple potential breeders so we now have a new selection for sale. To the lady who was in last week looking for a leucistic or albino female, we can now help you.

Here is a video of one of our saltwater show tanks with night time setting in. We have added a copperband butterfly & two masked bannerfish that are quite easy to see. What is elusive is the 4" juvenile blu faced angel but he does appear atleast 3 times in the video.

Zucchini for shrimp & plecos is great. For feeding to tortoises is again a nice treat. Now, shred it & add some calcium powder & we have a great way to get our Indian star yearlings to consume calcium . These guys are turning into beautiful creatures & most of them are available for purchase.
Please note that if you are looking for a small tortoise we have baby hermanns & greeks now ready for new homes.

Decided to try the zucchini treat for our shrimp today. As you can see they quite like the treat & makes them very visible for customers to select.

Most people have seen electric blue lobster in pet stores. Some even occasionally see a few other colors but most are nothing exciting. If you have ever wanted a freshwater lobster or crayfish these blue moon snakeskin lobster are spectacular & might be for you. This guy was eager to start eating pellets. Six left so hurry in.
