The M.D. currently has two dogs in care available for adoption. The pair were found near Chauvin on March 3rd and have not been claimed. Information:
Breed: livestock guardian breed or cross breed (potential Great Pyrenees or Maremma)
Gender: female, likely intact
Age: less than 2 years old (based on teeth)
Notes from the M.D. Dog Control Officer: they are very friendly and walking better on a leash each day. They do bark and are bonded to each other, likely litter mates. They were taken out to see goats and were not sure what they were, so they may not have been exposed to livestock. They have not been introduced to cats. They have not shown aggression to the Officer’s dogs, except when they are in the pen (which is now their space). Only aggression was a small growl.

We hope to adopt them as a pair. 🐕🐕

Dear Valued Clients,

Recently, I've received several inquiries about our pricing structure, and I wanted to take a moment to clarify and provide some insights.

Since 2022, I've implemented a matting fee to reflect the additional work involved in grooming matted dogs. This fee ranges from $5 to $30, depending on the condition of the coat. It's important to note that grooming matted dogs takes a significant toll on our high-quality grooming clippers and scissors, which is a factor we must consider.

Additionally, since moving to our new location, my rent has increased, and I need to ensure that I can balance all aspects of running the business while continuing to provide the best care for your pets.

Our grooming shop in Lloydminster is unique in offering a comprehensive package that includes shampoo, conditioner, nail trimming, glands, cologne A cute accessory and most of the time a finished look grooming photo teeth cleaning, ear care, and any haircut or trim of your choice, all with no additional fees. Up until last year, our prices remained consistent with those from my grooming school days, despite the enhancements and quality improvements we've made over the years. Something else to keep in mind is a lot of groomers are charging $90 an hour plus extra to have your dogs teeth brushed the nails clipped extra special shampoos and conditioners and The glands expressed , not to mention aggressive fees were challenging urination and defecation fees !

I believe it's fair to adjust our prices to reflect the dedication and high standards we maintain. We prioritize quality over quantity and strive to accommodate each of our clients to the best of our ability.
