I cannot stress this enough: crate training is essential. Many people don’t realize its importance until it’s too late. Training an adolescent or adult dog to be comfortable in a crate can be incredibly challenging. Far more than the minor inconveniences of teaching a puppy this same skill. DO NOT WAIT.
