The salon will be closed the last week of August (26-Sept 1)! We have reached out to everyone who needed to reschedule from that week so if you think you have an appointment during those days and haven't heard from us, please get in touch! Messages and emails received during that week will be returned when we get back on Sept 4th.

The Canine Tooth Fairy is coming back March 25th for all your pets teeth cleaning needs. You don't have to be a Wizard of Paws client to book a spot either! It's open to anyone. Spots are 1HR at a time and a $50 deposit is required to hold your spot.

We are happy to announce that Wizard of Paws is open to take new clients!
For those of you who don't know us, we are two gals, Abbee and Freddie, who love to offer a low stress, good vibes grooming experience to your furry friends.
We are opening for small to medium-large well behaved pups who love to get pampered.
We have limited spots available and we will consider happy-go-lucky dogs, who can enjoy a relaxed, kennel-free environment and are happy to be on a regular grooming schedule, tailored to their individual needs.
We love all the dogs out there, but due to our salon set up, we are unable to accommodate any reactive or aggressive dogs (but we are happy to recommend some groomers who are one-on-one and can help you with your pup).
We love cavaliers, standard poodles, goldens and everything in the middle! Whether your pup needs a bath or a complete makeover, we will be happy to help!
We work by appointment only and you can book by email at [email protected], shoot us a message on FB, or give us a call at (226) 700-8755. We are busy bees. If we don't pick up, leave us a message and we will get back to you asap.

The Canine Tooth Fairy will be visiting us again on July 10th, 2023. There are limited spots available so please contact us for more information or to reserve your spot.

Starting next week, our hours will be changing slightly! We'll still be open the same days (closed Monday & Tuesday), but will no longer be offering evening appointments. So we will be open 9-5 Wednesday through Sunday!
If you need a weekend spot, please consider booking several appointments ahead or getting on a recurring schedule, as we are currently booking out about 7-8 weeks!

On Feb 20, we are hosting for another teeth cleaning clinic!! She does cosmetic scaling which removes tartar from the teeth and can prevent stinky breath and other health issues.

All of our seasonal (Halloween and Christmas) Bosco and Roxy's cookies are now 50% off! We will not be ordering new cookies until our stock gets a little lower.

Bailey lives in the neighbourhood and has been coming since he was a baby! Now, with his Airedale breed clip, he looks like such a little grown up! 😊
It was so nice to see my old friend Mocha again after so long! She was definitely in need of a good de-shedding! She feels light as a feather now!! ☁️

But did you know, she's also a dog walker? She has her own business Unleashed Ldn. She has her own insurance, is a registered business, has had 4 years experience as a dog walker but even longer experience with animals since she grew up on a farm and has always been caring for animals her whole life!
Becki is here during our weekday hours and spends her weekends with her 2 year old daughter. If you want to take advantage of this service, please call us before your appointment to make sure she's in! Specialty walks from the shop will be 30 minutes and $25+tax.

We hope you've had a relaxing holiday season! I just wanted to make a post updating everyone on a couple new policies.
We are in the process of switching to a new system that can send reminder texts and/or emails. Going forward, anyone no-showing an appointment will be required to pay a deposit towards their next groom in order to book again. We have had quite a new no-shows or same day cancellations recently and we have people waiting for an appointment who could have taken that spot had we known sooner.
On another note, just a reminder to please please please take your dog for a quick walk before dropping off for your appointment, to make sure they use the bathroom! 💩

Tina is modelling the Puppy Cut, a poodle-specific trim that puppies are shown in before they're a year old and get their adult haircut.
When you come into the salon and ask for a "puppy cut" and you don't mean Tina's haircut below, we have no idea what you mean!! That term means very different things to different people, so in order to be on the same page, please be specific with length, style, or bring a picture of what you have in mind! That way we can make sure you get the haircut you want. 😊

We have had quite a few late arrivals lately so I wanted to make a post reminding everyone to please be on time for your appointment! Because of how we schedule our day, if you're more than 10-15 minutes late, we may not be able to take your dog and will need to reschedule. There is tons of construction downtown at the moment so please keep that in mind when you're timing your drive! Thank you for respecting our time. :)
