Hey everyone!
Happy. And sad news, I’m on my road to recovery now because I had 4 strokes in2021. I’m learning how to do almost everything again and once I get back I’ll offer dog walking! if you want me to bring them for a jog too, I’m offering that too. I’m going to get out everyday after I get to walking independently again!

I have a group to follow my journey too- Karley Wilson’s incredible journey!

I can’t wait to get back to you all soon!!

Hi everyone! 💜💜

First of all, what a year it has been & I want to apologize for my lack of posting! Between the covid shutdowns and injuring my wrist pretty bad I took some time off, but I am back now & wanted to give everyone a little update!!

I have added onto my business by taking a
canine massage therapy course 🐾 from the Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy in Toronto!
It was an incredible experience, and here is some photo proof that my German Shepherd thought she literally died & went to doggy Heaven. 🐶

To celebrate this I have added additional packages with options to get 10%, 15%, and 20% off in savings!!! 🤑🤑These additional saving deals are an option for my equine clients too💰

I have officially written and passed my exams & will begin offering this service to clients ASAP - The wait time is currently 6 weeks as of right now so please get your names in and I will be happy to have an over the phone consult with you!!

Did you know massage therapy doesn’t just help muscle soreness? It’s also used for stress management! Miss DD here has been on stall rest for the last few weeks and it’s hard for her to relax with all her built up energy - After an hour massage she was practically falling asleep, and was a rockstar in her stall today. 💜

I’d like to welcome my newest client, Gabe!
Gabe stood like an absolute statue for his initial assessment the other day, and I cannot wait to get started on him.

Currently writing up his personalized treatment plan based on his assessment, and I will go over it with his momma before we dive into the therapy part 😊.

DD again here - and cold weather doesn’t hold me back either!

Originally I began working on this mare’s neck because it was in moderate pain from consistent use of hay nets, but now that she’s all fixed she still demands I do at least a few minutes on her neck- her absolute favourite part 😊
Hay nets can be great for impatient horses who get frustrated, work themselves up, and/or potentially hurt themselves when they run out of hay. However the neck of a horse was biologically designed to eat hay from the ground, and muscles tire easily from the constant pulling motion of gathering hay out of the net at eye/chest level where most hay nets are tied. Short-term use does not usually have much of an effect, but long-term use sure does!

I love happy clients! This beautiful Friesian Sport Horse I’ve been working on for the last 4 months came to me with a lot of doubt & fear when it came to massage therapists “poking around”. She’s been brought from an “ants in your pants” type of nervous attitude to literally falling asleep in the cross ties! (Massaging with one hand & videoing with the other😊).

Equine Massage Relief with Karley Reaburn

Here at Equine Massage Relief, I believe that horses deserve just as much comfort in their day-to-day activities as we do. Ever had a knot in your back that tainted everything you did throughout the day just because of how much pain you were in? Throughout my studies, I learned that 90% of the time a well-trained horse refuses to do something, they refuse to do so out of pain. Our initial full body assessment will help to pinpoint the area(s) of discomfort, and soon after a customized treatment plan can be put into place to assist and support your horse in any way they need.
