Today was a great day 💞 on the grooming table. This little sweeties name Sky and she is a 3 year old Yorkie/poodle mix. This is her 3rd time to my grooming table. She is very lovable ❤️ and a pleasure to groom. Because she was matted her mom wanted h er shaved down. Hopefully with the colder weather coming I can leave her with more of her coat. Today I groomed a beautiful little girl named Coco. She is a 3 year old mixed breed. And her prominent breed appears to be pomeranian. Her mom and dad are
Sh*tzu/Yorkie mix. Apparently her dad had some pomeranian in his lineage in the distant past. It just goes to show it's just like a box of Cracker Jacks, you don't no what you're going to find at the bottom of the box. Coco was a very good girl and a pleasure to groom. Good morning everyone. Today I'm introducing a new client. This sweet little 💕 pup is GiGi. She is a 16 month old Sh*tzu/poodle mix. I recently groomed a 12 year old Morkie named Millie. She was very anxious at first, but by spending time with her prior to her groom, Millie be came less anxious. During the groom. Millie was given rest periods, through out the groom, which help her to become more comfortable with her groom. Here is her before and after pictures

I need more experience grooming Yorkies. So I'm reaching out to my friends and followers. I have decided to offer a free groom to clients that have Yorkies. However, there is a catch.
1) The dog has to be calm and and manageable.
2) That I'm allowed to take my time with the dog, in order to do a good job and to apply the different techniques required to make the groom look professional.

It's been said that 1 human year is equils 7 dog year's. It is true that dogs age faster than humans, however a dog that is 2 years old is considered an adult, and a dog that is 7 or 8 is a senor, after that they are in old age.

Today I'm going to post facts and fictions regarding dogs behaviors.

1) A wagging tail always indicates happiness.
The fact is a slow low wagging tail can indicate uneasiness and a fast high wagging tail can indicate aggression.
A right side wag indicates easy feelings and a left side wag indicates an uneasy feeling. Don't forget to like and follow. I will post another fact and fiction tomorrow .

Today I groomed a new client. Her name is Sadie and she is a 5 year old Cavachoni, which is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel / Bichon Frise mix. Sadie is a very sweet dog and ready to please. That why grooming her was a pleasure. Her dad was pleased with her new due, so Sadie will be a repeat customer. Her is her before and after.
