My neighbors had 12 Golden puppies this past December! There are 3 males left. They are just awesome, in fact, the writer has taken the last female! Let me know if anyone you know are interested. They've all had their 1st shots.

It's so nice having our Dan and Megan's dog Milo here for the week as they renovate their kitchen! Milo is a very active Siberian Husky who loves scaling fences! Thank goodness I was out with him to prevent him from going over!

I just want to take a moment to say thank you to friends and relatives for your heartening comments and thoughts as we grieve our Ollie. There is quite a void in our lives with his passing, we are having good days and not so good days. Donna and I and family are moving on as best we can. I can guarantee there will be another pup in our lives when the time is right! We have booked a couple of much needed holidays in the near future, and we are looking forward to that. Thanks again everyone!

Our Ollie crossed over the rainbow bridge yesterday. Ollie was 13 1/2 years old and we rescued him 12 years ago. He was such a good boy. They say a dog is man's best friend but he was more, he was a family member. He went for his regular check up in May and the vet did a complete blood panel and could not believe how good his results were for a 13 yr old dog. His only problem was his thyroid. So on Tuesday I took him for his regular thyroid blood work and his red cell count was bad. The vet asked him did he want to know what it was...yes and did a chest xray. It was a fast growing carcinoma. He could rupture at any time and had several tumors. So yesterday we did the kind thing for him so he would not suffer. Ollie had never been around kids but adjusted really well to the grandchildren. We will miss him so much, he brought us so much love and helped us through the good and bad times.❤❤

Murphy is growing! He's about 8 months old and can be a handful, or should I say bushel full! His 'sister' Tia plays well with him, most of the time, otherwise, she barks, howls or ignores him when he acts up, usually when he sees me arrive and they jostle for my attention. Beautiful dogs!

Seamus was such an awesome dog. Started with him when he was 7 weeks old, just about 9 years ago. As I've always said, losing a dog is like losing a piece of your heart. Rest in Peace beautiful Seamus.

For those who give up their dogs when they have a baby, I'm posting this photo of a family whose 15-year-old Jack Russel Terrier is treated as one of the children (because he was their first child) and who is the protector of his two human brothers and sisters.

Never use the excuse that you had to let your dog go because you have a baby in the family and the doctor advised you blah blah blah and other lame excuses.

Never abandon your pets. They are family ❤️

Tia is a terrific Husky that I used to walk 4 years ago. She now has a new brother named Murphy, a Bernese puppy at 11 weeks old. So happy to see them grow and engage in horseplay! I believe Tia will put Murphy "in his place" until a "bit of growth" will take place!
