After the devastating fire next door and renovations, we are finally reopening tomorrow! 🎉 We have been working extremely hard to make this happen and appreciate everyone's patience. Although we will be open please note:

•Our new double freezer has not arrived yet so we will not have any Big Country Raw until next Friday
•We are still waiting on some shelving for the new food room so not everything has been unpacked yet. We will not be able to go through boxes looking for a specific food if you don't see it on the shelf.
•Due to the holiday delivery schedules of our suppliers & being unable to get deliveries during the reno, we will not be fully stocked on pet food until next week.

Unfortunately the timing of this during the holiday's made everything much more difficult for us and the necessary renovations so please be patient. We will get back to normal soon and are excited to welcome everyone back in store tomorrow! ❤️🐾

We finally have some good (ish) news to share after being closed for almost three weeks due to the fire next door! 🎉

We will be reopening this Friday December 20th, however there will be NO FOOD SALES. We appreciate everyone's patience during this difficult time and cannot wait to see everyone again! Unfortunately, our food room remains unaccessible until the renovations are complete. For this reason, we will be forced to close again from December 27th until the new year to complete the necessary restorations. We will announce a grand reopening at a later date.

Unfortunately, we faced some obstacles last week getting our utilities restored (they are on now!) and everything is taking a lot longer then we expected 😢 💔

We wish we had some news on reopening, but unfortunately there is no update yet 😓. We have been working hard with our insurance company brainstorming at least a temporary solution, but we cannot go ahead with anything just yet. We have to wait for the inspection to be completed next door as half of our store (food room) falls under that address.

We are grateful for all of the community support and miss you & your pets very much. Just know that we are working on seeing you again very soon!! ❤️🤞🐾

Thank you to everyone who has reached out to offer their help and support after yesterday's fire. The community support means the world to us during this difficult time ❤️
We wish we had an update to share but unfortunately we are still waiting for the investigation to be completed before we can fully assess the damage. We were able to enter with the fire department briefly yesterday and it seems it is mostly water damage to the food room as it is directly under the apartment that caught fire. We are extremely grateful to all the firefighters who worked quickly to extinguish the fire and save us further damage.
We will keep everyone updated as we get any news.

Very thankful to the London Fire Department who worked quickly to get the fire under control.

All of us with the OSBA are deeply saddened by the fire that broke out early this morning affecting Sha Choix, A Village Tail and Westland Gallery in Wortley Village. We are unaware of the extent of the damage, and are relieved that no injuries have been reported.

Our hearts go out to these cherished establishments that contribute so much to the vibrancy of our community. The Old South Business Association stands ready to support them during this challenging time. Thank you to the incredible London Fire Department who worked hard to ensure everyone’s safety. 🙏
