From now until March, we will be focusing on your pets dental care. Healthy teeth are an integral part of your pets overall well being so its very important that we keep an eye their pearly whites 🦷
An easy way to look after your pet’s teeth is to have them on a dental diet! Dental diets are generally larger in size and have more fibre in them than regular kibble. The larger size forces your dog or cat to chew the kibble rather than swallowing it whole, and the fibre keeps it from falling apart easily to also keep them chewing for longer. The chewing action causes the kibble to scrape across the tooth’s surface and helps remove daily plaque and some built-up tartar.
