Hello, I'm Gino, a 3-year-old rabbit with a friendly, smart, and gentle personality. I've lived with cats before and we got along just fine, so if you have a respectful feline friend at home, I wouldn't mind sharing my space. However, I must confess, I'm a bit nervous around children. Their energy can be overwhelming for me. Hello there, I'm Toby! I've got a lot of love to give! I'm a friendly, mellow, and a bit of a stubborn guy who loves to cuddle. I get along well with other respectful small and medium dogs and even cats, so I'd fit right into a home with one or two furry friends. My friends here at the shelter do not know much about where I came from, but I have done very well with some foster trials to see what I am like in a home.

I'm definitely not a fan of my crate and will demand to sleep with you instead. But give me a toy and I'm the happiest pup around! I'm very polite and will ensure I do not get into anything I'm not supposed to. I will be your shadow, following you around the house, but I'm just keeping an eye on you, and I am a great little walking buddy!

Due to my age and breed, I have a couple old guy quirks like some poor tooth alignment, age-related changes to my eyes, as well as a grade 3-4/6 heart murmur. A member of our Animal Health Department will chat with you regarding these things, but I am still doing great regardless!

I may be an older guy, but I've got plenty of love and laughs to share. I'm and ready to make your home brighter with my gentle, goofy spirit. If you feel like I am the boy for you, submit an application online or come into the shelter to fill one out soon!

Hello there. I'm a 4-year-old kitty with a shy side and my name is Rose. Once you get to know me, you'll discover just how friendly and loving I can be. I might take a little time to warm up, and I like having my quiet time, but I promise I still love cuddles and purrs sometimes!
I've spent my life living with adults and teenagers, so I'm pretty comfortable around people. I've always been the only pet in my home, so I'm used to having all the attention to myself. I'd love to continue being the solo star in a quiet and caring home where I can really shine.

Airshow London is fun to watch but please keep in mind the loud noises can be stressful for your pets.

How can you help keep your pets safe this weekend?

- Keep your pets inside where they are safe as much as possible, especially if they have a history of being scared of loud noises such as fireworks or thunder.

- Remember, when pets are fearful they may take desperate measures and even escape fenced in areas. If you must venture out with your pet, we recommend they have a form of traceable identification (such as a microchip, collar with tag, etc). Keep your pet leashed and with you at all times.

- Turn on the TV or radio in your home to help reduce the air traffic noise and consider which spaces in your home could be best for your pets if they do become anxious.

Meet Misty, our longest stay cat

Misty has been in our care for an outstanding 471 days now. Unfortunately, even though Misty has been with us for so long, she has received zero adoption interest.

Misty is a lovely 10 year old dilute tortie. Some of her favourite pastimes include chasing her pom poms (and then secretly hiding them in her foster’s shoes), chasing her wand toy, zoomies, and playing by herself. Misty is also a huge fan of cuddling with her human companions.

Misty is unfortunately dealing with some allergies. Due to these allergies, she has experienced some fur loss in her face. Misty also has a mild heart murmur, lenticular sclerosis in her eyes, and is on a hypoallergenic diet. All that said – we just KNOW she will find her forever home soon! Could it be with you?

We need your help - this week!

Thanks to our friends at the Hamilton Burlington SPCA for providing us with the opportunity to receive a large donation of pet food on skids to greatly assist us in serving our community through our No Empty Bowls Pet Food Bank.

We need your help to make this possible as we do not have storage space for such a generous donation. Space is needed this week!

Starting next week to June 27th, you have the opportunity to submit your pet’s photo and vote their way to the top! Not only will you have the chance to give your pet the spotlight you know they deserve, and win some awesome prizes, but you will also be helping at-risk animals in our community. Our 12 winners will have the chance to win a spot on our 2025 calendar, and the opportunity to participate in a professional photography session for your pet. Foster homes provide animals the opportunity to enjoy a temporary home until they are ready for adoption. 💙 🏡 For Milo, his foster home really made a huge difference. My name is Tinkles, I am a senior lady at 11 years old that is in need of a loving and patient home. 🏡 💙 I came from a home with many cats and wasn't socialized much, so I can be pretty scared at times but I have been doing my best ad being brave in new situations. I've been in foster for a couple months now building my confidence and I need someone that's okay spending a little extra time to go slow and make me feel safe.
