A Bit About Me

check out my albums and videos for all the dogs info Animals have always been a passion of mine even as a kid i said i wanted to be a vet and as such i got my vet assistant diploma in 2011, since then i have done much research of my own on dog/cat behavior, diet, holistic health and many other areas and have learned much even though i am still young, hobby breeding was also another thing i had gotten an interest in after living on a farm and experiencing our aussies first litter of 14!!! and after doing much research on cross breed pros and cons i decided the breeds i was going to breed would be crosses, many reasons went into this ex. gene diversity, unique looking puppies, giving something to the breed that wasnt there before to name a few reasons.

like doodles and pomskies these pups are being born for a reason...to fill a purpose in these changing times....how many people do you know that buy a dog and put it on a sled dog team or take it out every morning to herd the sheep? not many im sure we dont use dogs for what they were bred for any more as most people live in the city and have full time jobs and family and so dont have time to actively work a dog, people are creating dogs like doodles and pomskies to help fill new roles that society needs....have an allergy? get a doodle...want a husky but cant have a big dog? get a pomsky.... most people want a well tempered unique looking companion dog that will fit into their busy lifestyle, thats why you see so many huskies being re homed....people buy them because they are beautiful and cute but realize once they are older that they are too high maintenance to fit into their busy lifestyles and its not fair to the person or the dog if your both not happy, this is why im focusing on breeds that are known for their very loving trainable personalities and that arent crazy hyper or known for aggression (like golden retrievers and labs its very rare to hear of an aggressive australian shepherd or keeshond) this is how all current “purebreds” where created....when the kennels clubs were formed people started breeding only select dogs to get the “look” and “temperament” they wanted, all breeds started as “mutts”. Inbreeding when the kennel clubs were forming is actually what caused the majority of genetic problems breeders test for and the reason they need to keep a pedigree and test in the first place to make sure the two dogs they are breeding arent to closely related....so breeding two different breeds automatically reduces the puppies chances of getting a genetic illness. (you can learn more in the information center located in the photo albums)

with my extensive research, college degree and university video training done through my time working for pet valu i can do my best to give you tips on puppy training, how to w**d out good commercial foods from bad, holistic treatment and more, again i am no vet and am just starting out as a hobby breeder now after years of my own research and education but have found the methods I've learned have worked in my own experience, so feel free to ask any questions you might have and i'll do my best to help :)
