I see a lot of people switching dog food brands to support Canadian right now, and I love it! Just a friendly reminder while youre doing this to please keep in mind the recommended process of changing your dog's food, an instant change can cause an upset stomach, vomiting, diarrhea, and loss of appetite.

A slow transition gives your dog's system time to adjust. To switch dogs food, you should gradually mix the new and old food for at least a week. The transition period depends on your dog's sensitivity to change.

Example Transition schedule
Days 1–2: Mix 3/4 old food with 1/4 new food
Days 3–4: Mix equal parts old and new food
Days 5–7: Mix 3/4 new food with 1/4 old food
Days 8–10: Serve only the new food

Happy Family Day everyone! Thank you all for your patience these last few days!

My family got hit with a nasty bug last week, luckily our house has mostly been fine! Baby Tina got it the worst here and I'm learning as a new mom how to balance these times with business. It's a learning curve that I'm going to have to push through, and I'm hoping you will all support me through it too!

Today's looking like a better day for Tina, we actually managed to sleep longer than 2 hours straight last night, so I'll be able to get back to messages and rescheduling last weeks missed nail trims!

Happy New Year ✨️

Another change being made this year is the new nail trim Loyalty card!

How the Loyalty card will work:

Each pet counts towards your free trim!
- if you have 3 pets getting trimmed that counts as 3 separate points towards your 1 free trim

If you have multiple pets, the free trim will only count for 1 pet
- other pets will get a discounted price at this appointment

I will be giving out physical cards that I will mark at each appointment so you can keep track! I will also be keeping track digitally incase you loose your physical loyalty card.

*NOTE FOR ANYONE WHO HAS ALREADY HAD THEIR FIRST NAIL TRIM OF THE YEAR*
- I will be giving you your physical cards at the next appointment, and the trims that you just had have already been marked towards your free trim!

Merry Christmas 🎄 and Happy Holidays ☃️

This year has gone by so fast, I can't believe it's already new years this week!

I've enjoyed a slow return to work only working with a select few clients the last few months but I'm ready to open it back up. With the new year coming I've been working on some changes for the business.

Unfortunately Facebook has proven to be unreliable for me to schedule appointments so the first change going into the new year is how to book an appointment. Booking is now open to everyone again, new and old clients!

I HIGHLY recommend this course to all pet owners! This is the training I went through last year and it is such a good course!

New service area update!

Now offering nail trims in London's surrounding areas; Dorchester, Ilderton, Lucan, Arva, Byron, Komoka, St.thomas, and aylmer

Will be expanding to further areas ie. Strathroy, ingersoll, and woodstock in a few months!

I've enjoyed my 2 months off, and even extended the leave a few extra weeks. But I'm ready to get back to see all those wagging tails!

Tina has arrived!
Krystina Lee Watson, Born May 30th, 2024 💖

It was pretty fitting that the sticker on our wall right outside our recovery room was a little squirrel 🥰🐿

Unfortunately our labour did not go to plan and ended up in an emergency c section, but both me and baby are now happy, healthy, and finally back home! Recovery will take a little longer than expected and we won't be back to trims until mid/late July - I'll keep everyone updated as this changes!

I am now closed for a short leave while we get close to babies due date! Only a couple weeks left until she'll be here 🥰

I plan on returning to nail trims on July 2nd but will keep everyone posted if anything changes!

Happy new year! With the new year starting there will be some minor changes to business.

The Coles Critter Care family is excited to announce the newest family member and helper coming in June 2024! ❤️

I'll be continuing trims as long as physically possible, the goal is to continue right through the month of May. I will be taking the month of June off to rest and recover, with the goal being to return to services in July!

I'll keep everyone as updated as possible on how we'll be changing as we get closer to the due date 😁❤️ thank you for your continued love and support!

Thank you to everyone that made the 2023 year in business so amazing!

Thank you to all the new clients, all my re-occurring clients, and all the support and growth!

I had an AMAZING year gaining new connections amd friends within this industry, getting pet first aid and cpr certified, volunteering twice to do nail trims raising money for the Golden Opportunity Assistance Dogs, and starting my wildlife custodian studies. I cant wait to see what 2024 has in store!
