Tomorrow is Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day, a day to remember all of our beloved pets that have crossed the rainbow bridge.

This year, you can create a fundraising team in honour of your late pet, and walk with us at Walk and Bark in the Park Presented by Subaru of London on October 6th. Additionally, you can choose to memorialize your pet by having a colourful pinwheel displayed at the event. Each pinwheel will be a beautiful tribute along the walk route. 🌈

Hi, I am Moochi, I am here to find a special family who will welcome me and my super wiggly nubbin into their hearts and home. I am between 2-3 years old. I found my way to the shelter where I kinda just laid in my cage waiting for my people to come pick me up… but sadly they never came. I am a big loving Rottweiler girl and weigh well, I probably should not talk about my weight as I am a bit overweight and have been working VERY hard with my foster family to lose some. I am a lover of all people and will quickly wiggle my way into your lap for cuddles and pets.

I get along with most dogs and even went to hang out at a fun doggie play place where I met new friends and ran around with them. I am good with playful, more submissive dogs. However I would be best as an only dog to start in my new family and will need some continued work on some leash reactivity that I do have. I am doing well with my foster mom and am super food motivated so that helps with my training. I do have some cats in my foster home but I am not allowed to be unattended with them as I seem a bit too interested. I am also fine with kiddos, the only issue is I may knock them over with my excitement. Especially the little ones. I live with a baby right now and I love licking his toes.

I would like a family who is willing to continue my training as well as one who has some Rottie breed knowledge as we are a fun breed but are smart and love to have mental stimulation just as much as physical. I love running around in the backyard doing zoomies at least once a day so one of those would be great. I am house trained, crate trained and ride well in the car. I love to lay in the sun and just hang out on the couch. I rarely jump on people though and am SUPER smart. I just have a couple of hurdles that I need my new family to continue working on with me, that's all.

An adoption fee applies for me, $500. I have been spayed, I am vaccinated with my age appropriate vaccinations, been dewormed, been given flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and will come with 30 days of free pet insurance as well as my health certificate.

Update: Dot's applications are currently closed due to extremely high volume received. Our adoption team will be very busy over the next few days so we would ask for patience. If you are not selected (we respond to everyone) please consider adopting another rescue dog instead. (530am Aug 28)

Dot- 3 years- female- 36 pounds

This pint sized English Bulldog is just a baby at only 3 but we've disguised her as an honorary senior to ensure she got a brand new lease on life after being rescued from a commercial breeder.

Let's start with the obvious- she is just as cute as they come and she's extra silly too. Worlds best snuggler right here!

Looking for a loving home with medical cost hope she finds it
Beautiful girl

Hi everyone my name is Willow and I’m 2.5 years old. When I met the good people at GR, I needed a big operation for my ‘Ectopic ureter’ (wow, that’s a mouthful for me) because I was always leaking and kept getting what you call UTI’s. It was not very nice but I’m all fixed now. Thank you GR and thanks to my amazing foster family and my doctor for seeing me through my surgery and recovery. I’m a happy, healthy girl now. I take meds and they cost about $60/mo but I’m not sure for how long…maybe forever…I just don’t know. I love people a LOT and I also love all other dogs. Playing with any of my canine cousins is just about my favourite thing so a family with another playful dog would be ideal. I am pretty well trained and am actually not bad on the leash and only pull if I see another dog or a critter. I do love chasing critters though so a secure yard would be ideal for me unless you intend to leash walk me everywhere (and no cats please). I am gentle with my treats. You can touch me anywhere. I hardly ever bark. Loud noises don’t bother me and you can leave me alone if you have to go out without me. My foster mom says: ”Willow is a loveable girl who will steal your heart. She is easy to care for and just wants to be loved.” Thanks for taking such great care of me! Now, the next stage of my journey begins ~ it’s so exciting!
