You may remember Hekr! Hekr (bearded dragon) was back in recently for her pre-brumation exam.

It is not uncommon for some species of pet reptiles to decrease their energy level over the winter months and partially hibernate (referred to as brumation). This can last a few weeks to a few months, depending on the animal and its environmental conditions at home. There is a lot to still learn about this process but it is recommended to have a general health exam and f***l test done to check for a parasite overload before allowing your pet reptile to brumate.
