🐶Do you LOVE dogs? Are you looking for a flexible, active, and rewarding job?

🐾The Job: As a professional White Dog dog walker, you are relied on to provide exercise, relief, and care to our four-legged friends throughout the day. This is a fun, active, and rewarding position where communication and responsibility are top priorities. You are trusted to enter clients' homes respectfully and provide the utmost care for their beloved pets. This job provides an opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with our dog and human clients.

📅Dog walking and let-outs generally take place from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

🐕Responsibilities: Pick up and drop off dogs at home in a timely manner. Ensuring the home is secure before and after every visit.
Provide dogs with private, on-leash, neighbourhood walk, or at-home let-out.
Understand special requests and conditions for each dog
Give each dog love and attention
Remove dog waste
Refresh water, wipe paws, and give treats, as required
Walk dogs outdoors in all weather conditions
Ensure the dogs' safety at all times
Effectively communicate dog updates to owners with detailed text messages and or phone calls if required.
Keep track of your time and submit it to the employer.
Manage your own schedule via phone, email, text message and scheduling app (Acuity Scheduling).

😁Who you are: A responsible, trustworthy individual with high integrity.
Able to self-manage, adhere to a schedule, and communicate over email and text message
Capable of walking several hours each day
Willing to walk in all weather throughout the year
Are 18 years or older (for insurance purposes)
You own or have access to a vehicle and a Valid Ontario driver’s license
Willing to obtain Pet First Aid & CPR certification
Past dog experience/walking is an asset

💵Compensation is provided per walk/services provided and paid weekly.

“It’s corn season and this is a reminder that corn cobs can cause fatal blockages for dogs, then can not digest the cob
Be overprotective about this. Ensure that you dispose of them where your dog can’t get at it.”
