My Birthday is coming up soon. No biggie. However If my friends and supporters of Allies want to help out, great and no pressure at all. Times are tough. Our shelter needs help... I cannot keep going on without some help. We are always on top of things, however it costs so much now... we need more help.
My best Birthday gift would be to pass it on to some of our cats who need Vetting, need food, need litter, need what they need.
I know we are all hit hard. I want to go into town today to get bird seed for our beautiful birds here...and my account is in the red... so I have to find another way .... and I will. I always do... No one does without even if I do sometimes. And that is my choice and I am never sorry for that, as they deserve this human hand up. Do what you can. That is all I ask. xo to all who have given recently and in the past. Love to my volunteers for all they do. I will eventually have to shut down the shelter if we do not get more support . We do not get gov. funding here. It is what it is...and the Universe will keep working with us if we are meant to continue. Thanks for listening... and know this post is out of love. ❤

Please send some cool names for girls , boys, unisex... and send some love to Mom who was pregnant and being stalked by a hungry bear. 8 babies and Mommy will need shots, need care, need food when old enough. They are over 2 weeks old now. Mom will need to be spayed... babies will need eventually the same if still with us. Please sponsor one of these babies to help us out. Even 10.00 a month would help...anything you can give from the heart for the one you have a special shine to.. Even if you cannot adopt... you can still help out. Debi is doing a Yard Sale and has said it will go to Allies for Alley Catz, how very kind and Cool! Some items to watch for are cat carriers, some good tools to work with, CDs, DVDs, and so much more! Come Sat. to check it out and get something you need or want. There will be so much! Oh, and older comics, books etc. etc., etc. Come one come all, get a deal, and make a difference! ❤

Ok, here's the deal kind people. We are spending 1100.00 a month on litter alone. We get a skid every two months which costs 2200.00 Next, we spend 1800.00 for soft food each month. We are lucky when we receive kind donations from friends and nice people. We so far have been fortunate to receive dry food and some soft, from companies who give to a donation site. Tina and Bruce Clift pick that up for us. We are so grateful when this happens. It is a lot of travel and work for them. We both are retired...sort of...not really...LOL. Paul works from home to help us sustain the costs of food, litter, Vet bills, electricity, water, heating in winter, and air conditioning in summer. We do without a lot so they get proper care.
I do not reach out a lot but we need more help here. Whatever you can do, whenever you can do it, That is all I ask. You can donate to Allies for Alley Catz by calling Wingham Heubner-Ridder Veterinary Hospital or Kincardine Country Depot / Kincardine UPI or [email protected] for e-transfers.
All rescues and shelters are struggling and I recognize this full stop. If you support the work we do...do what you can. No more, no less, and we send appreciation for any help. Thanks to all who have done this for us recently and in the past. ❤
Also, we are looking for left-over paint, latex, in nice bright light colors to repaint the shelter or touch it up. Any and all help will ease our load. We want to enjoy our retirement and still care for the animals at our shelter. ❤ I have wonderful people in my life. If everyone put away a dollar or two per month for us it would come together in a great way to help us out. ❤ We are all dealing with higher costs these days in Canada.

All shelters need help as costs keep increasing and so does the need for animal care. Pet Rescue Lucknow does an amazing job too. Please help them out a bit.

Chanel had her babies this afternoon... I am so glad I put a new soft bed in there for her today. She had 4 beautiful babies...but one did not make it. I tried warming towels and wrapping it up and rubbing softly to get it going...but sadly nothing worked... I was very sad.

Mommy tried so hard to clean and get the baby going too. For being so very young herself...still a kitten...maybe 7 mos. old. She had to get to her other 3 newborns as they were yelling for Mom . They are doing well and she is snuggled right in with them. When I petted her and told her what a good Mommy she was ... she purred and kittens snatched on to her. I told the kitten that did not make it... how beautiful and loved it was... They all look like Mom... Blue greys... some with a touch of white. She is managing her 3 babes very well.
