Looking a special Foster to Adopt home🫶

Meet Waylon!

This sweet energetic 12 week old border collie mix pup is searching for a very special foster to adopt home.

As his online profile indicates, Waylon is on a medical hold. He is a lively and loving puppy, thriving in foster care. Sadly, he has experienced some seizures since coming to us. After initial tests came up inconclusive, he now has a scheduled specialist appointment to see if there is anything going on that could prevent/cure the seizures but we cannot predict his future health. While there may be nothing that can be done - we always look at all options for our dogs.

We are seeking a foster to adopt home where he can continue his care in Vernon, as well as his upcoming specialist appointment in Kelowna.

A foster to adopt is someone that works with us until the specialist appointments, loving and caring for him in the interim, in hopes that it would be a match and lead to adoption.

🐾❄️ Despite the cold, our amazing clients and their dogs showed up ready to learn! ! It’s inspiring to see such commitment these dog owners have to showing up for their dogs learning, even in the freezing cold!

In this session, we focused on essential skills like recall (coming when called), urban agility, and perfecting loose leash walking with figure 8 exercises and auto-sits. We also emphasized socialization and maintaining focus on the leash while passing other dogs.

Thanks to everyone who braved the chily weather to make this class a success! We look forward to seeing you all again at the next canine club class! 🦮✨
