I belong to the Canadian Kennel club, and in the past I have served on the Golden Retriever Club of Canada Board of Directors, and was the President/Founder of the now defunct Golden Retriever Club of Saskatchewan. I have been involved in Goldens since 1992, and had the opportunity to represent the GRCC at the Royal Canin launch of their Golden Retriever 25 food IN Chicago. I have raised and shown
goldens for over 20+ years and enjoy spending time photographing our dogs. I was the Chair of the 2008 GRCC National Specialty in Saskatoon, wearing many hats to ensure the success of the event. A special shout out to all the Board of Directors in 2008 who came and helped with every event, as Saskatchewan didn't have enough people to do it all. What a great bunch of people! Their expertise and ability to step in and help make the event a success is MUCH appreciated! I take great pride in our dogs and selectively breed to improve the breed, not just to " fill pet orders". Our dogs are available to select homes only. Our family LOVE goldens and enjoy spending time talking with others who also love the breed. All of our dogs come with a lifetime return policy, and I am here to help you with any issue your YBF Golden could get in its lifetime. I NEVER charge a 'consultation fee' for any of this, it is a labour of love for me and a way to give back to a breed that has given so much to me. My dogs have saved my Dad's life, found my cancer, detected seizures, found stolen money stashed in the forest from a robbery, been show dogs, obedience dogs, hunting dogs, therapy dogs, and most importantly faithful loving companions to their families. My dad was a founding member and president of the Regina Humane Society for many years. We have a strong love for animals and are lifetime members, often having fundraising events for their programs. I have been raised to know the value of every animal and to step in when animal cruelty is an issue. Our dogs are our family and we also have several Regina Humane Society cats as part of our family as well. It is my intention to run this site to educate people about the breed and post dog related information that everyone can use. Some things I post may be difficult to see, but I feel that it is important to share information with people when something happens, not pretend it didn't happen. With transparency and honesty about events, I feel it helps others dealing with the same issue or help them avoid it in their lives. Not everything about breeding dogs is sunshine and roses and sometimes difficult situations arise. At all times, my dogs welfare is first and foremost. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site.
