Ellie celebrated National Day of the Horse yesterday with a trip to Shur-Gain Feeds'n Needs , Bridgewater location.
She did a little shopping, checked out the Veseys Seeds Ltd. Catalog to add her favorites to her list for Santa!
She even gave hugs to some.of her favorite people!

We are pleased to be again offering our short courses for 2025 - one in 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚 at Sue Schembri's Myakka City Char-O-Lot Ranch, and the second at our 𝐎𝐤𝐥𝐚𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐚 facility.

We offer two different curricula - the mare course is two days long and then is followed by the one-day stallion course. One can attend all three days combined, or just the individual mare or stallion course, as one's interest and need applies.

We're excited to offer 2025 internships! Are you interested in advancing your experience and knowledge in the equine reproduction field?

EquineRepro / Equine-Reproduction.com is offering the opportunity for a motivated and committed applicant looking to gain hands-on experience at a full serrvice breeding station located in the heart of the American mid-west.

We're offering three-month and six-month internships to individuals prepared to learn the ins and outs of equine reproduction. This hands-on internship includes semen collection and processing, frozen semen processing, mare management, foaling operations, and general broodstock management. This includes equine reproductive care like lavaging, insemination, administering plasma to neonate foals, semen evaluation, and the list goes on. Interested applicants will also have daily hands-on experience with handling stallions, mares, and foals.

Applicants must be 18 or older. Food and lodging are provided, as well as access to a vehicle for personal use. This is an unpaid internship. Collegiate credits can be applied based on your curriculum's requirements. Equine or livestock experience is an absolute must.

Election coming up for the Newfoundland Pony Society.

Hi everyone! My name is Kelesha Crewe and I am one of 5 nominations for the 3 Director at Large positions for the Newfoundland Pony Society for 2025.
I just wanted to post a little bit about myself for those of you who may not know me.
I am 35 years old have been involved with horses and ponies since I was 10-12 years old. I started riding around 12 and the rest is history.
I currently have 2 horses and 2 Newfoundland Ponies (one stud c**t who was born here with me in 2023, and one mare who is pregnant).
I am good friends with Netta LeDrew, who is well known in the pony world and I have had experience handling, training and helping her with her Newfoundland ponies over the years.
I am currently a Director at Large for the Newfoundland Equestrian Association and didn’t put my name forth for 2025 as my heart lies with the Newfoundland Pony and I wanted to get more involved with the pony society if possible.
I am currently enrolled in an equine breeding course through the University of Guelph on Management of the Broodmare, Stallion and Foal.
I have shown my horses in the summer time throughout the province for years and I also attend and host clinics. A lot of the horse people of Newfoundland know me well but I feel as though the Newfoundland Pony people of the province are a different world of equestrians and I would like to change that. I feel that if we could merge these two “worlds” together we could bring a lot more recognition to the pony.
I feel that I could bring a lot to the table if I get voted in for this position on the board and I would absolutely appreciate the vote! Thanks for reading and happy voting!
