What we provide:
✅ As much turnout as possible (no horses go out alone at VHF always with a friend!)
✅ heated water systems in all winter paddocks
✅ Full daily care (blanketing, mucking, paper dust free shavings, vet/farrier assistance, turnout, feed, and more!)
✅ Guaranteed tack locker and full access to our riding facilities
✅ Lessons with our qualified coaches in French or English

Our top-tier facilities include:

🌳 200 acres of land and trails for hacking/conditioning
⛰️ Conditioning hill system
🏇 80+ XC fences from starter to preliminary
🏠 Indoor arena with heaters in viewing area
🌟 60m dressage sand ring,
💍 100x200 ft outdoor pad set for Jumping
💡 the pad has 6 flood lights and is set up for night-riding

🎬 Last week was nothing short of magical at Venturing Hills Farm as we opened our doors to host an incredible film crew for a Christmas movie! 🌟

We are so grateful for the opportunity to share this beautiful place we call home with such a stellar team. A huge thank you to everyone who made this possible:

⌚️ , our head trainer, who seamlessly coordinated between the film crew and barn staff to keep our 40+ horse operation running like clockwork.

🐴 and , our phenomenal barn managers, for their flexibility, dedication, and unwavering care for our horses throughout this whirlwind.

📽The entire film crew—your professionalism, kindness, and creativity made this an unforgettable experience. We hope to work with you all again in the future! 🐴🎥

Last week, with love in our hearts and a deep sense of gratitude, we laid the majestic, and oh so precious Woody Hollywood to rest. Also fondly known as Woodster, Woods, The VHF Wanderer, and so much more. 1999 - Nov 2024

He has been a cornerstone of Venturing Hills Farm for as long as VHF has existed, and has been on the farm since before the Becke family purchased the property, in 2007.

Woody was the very first horse countless novice equestrians rode when they came to VHF. He gave so many people that magical experience, all while staying true to who he was … a smart, silly, stubborn goofball, with incredible patience, and a huge personality like no other - a true teacher in every sense of the word.

Like Woody, his family has been a part of VHF from the very beginning. Alexei and Woody took lessons with Mrs. Laframboise in the days of FOTM and began their lifelong journey together. Once an O'Connor horse - it’s for life 🥰. He was one of the first horses Sophie ever jumped—and the first she ever fell off of (one of his specialties 😉). Harry and Sophie grew up with Woody and shared so many wonderful firsts with him at the farm.

Woody was always more than a horse; he was a friend, a teacher, and a constant presence in all our lives. His calm (yet deviously spirited) demeanour and gentle disposition taught us lessons that extended far beyond the arena; and we will carry forwards with us in life. Now, he joins the Venturing Hills herd in the sky, galloping freely and watching over us while receiving lots of treats, grooming, and love from our man Gator ❤️.

Thank you, Woody, for the memories, the lessons, and the love. You will always be part of the foundation and soul of this farm, we will carry you forwards with us, in all that we do.

You are Forever loved, and forever missed.

🌟 Farewell, Icy! Thank You for the Memories! ❄️

Icy has been a patient teacher, a kind companion, and a shining star for so many riders at Venturing Hills Farm. 💖 From first trots to building confidence in the saddle, he has brought joy to all who have had the privilege of riding him.

Now, Icy returns home to continue teaching and inspiring others, and while we’ll miss him dearly, we are so grateful for the time we had with him. A heartfelt thank you to Ruby and Andrea Strengel for sharing this incredible pony with us — your generosity has been such a gift. 💕
Wishing Icy all the best on this new chapter! 🐴 We’ll never forget you, sweet boy!
