We humans avoid bad feelings for ourselves.
We often feel uncomfortable about bad feelings in another.
It’s one of our poorest qualities.
We should be supporting, holding, helping each other.
We often do the same with dogs.
Some dogs are unlucky enough to be exposed to trainers who don’t believe that dog feelings matter.
Or don’t know what the dog’s feelings are, so make it up.
Misrepresentation.
Misinterpretation.
Dogs deserve their feelings to be understood.
And taken into account.

The “alpha” theory in dog training is a bit like saying we should all live like reality TV stars – full of drama and tension!

What a fantastic start to the week! 🐾We're delighted to welcome our new Level 1 Learning dogs - Maille, Lady Bug, Cordelia, Lucy, Tilli, Lady, Abbi, and Millie - and eagerly look forward to their remarkable achievements next week.
A warm welcome also to our Puppy class students - Summer, Chip, Tipsy, and Sully. And a sincere thank you to my amazing Assistants - Gaile, Nancy, Sophia, and of course Knut - for making tonight a triumph. We're excited to see what next week holds!🐾❤️🐾

This sweet girl Sia is still waiting for her forever home. ❤🏠

Sia is a very affectionate snuggle bug. At approximately 5 years old, she is still very playful and puppy like when she gets excited. Sweet Sia has had some dog friends but can be selective so we are suggesting no other dogs without proper introductions. When out for walks, Sia can be reactive to dogs but is easily distracted with yummy treats. A dog experienced person would be best for Sia so she can reach her full potential. 🐾
