Throughout this week you will hear us use the term "ADI" and "ADI Accreditation" a lot but what does that even mean? ADI stands for Assistance Dog International is the global authority in the Assistance Dog Industry. ADI was founded shortly before PADS, in 1986, and connects over 131 accredited programs worldwide.
As Canada's first Accredited school, we're proud to share a mission of training and placing the highest quality of certified assistance dogs.
ADI facilitates the exchange of best practices, knowledge of industry trends, further education of its members and the public, and the opportunity to lead the development standards in the assistance dog industry.
Our Accreditation also allows our accredited instructors to test our teams to government standards.
Throughout this week we'll be participating in the campaign and sharing from people within the PADS Community on why our ADI accreditation is important to them.
