Throughout this week you will hear us use the term "ADI" and "ADI Accreditation" a lot but what does that even mean? ADI stands for Assistance Dog International is the global authority in the Assistance Dog Industry. ADI was founded shortly before PADS, in 1986, and connects over 131 accredited programs worldwide.⁠

As Canada's first Accredited school, we're proud to share a mission of training and placing the highest quality of certified assistance dogs.⁠⁠

ADI facilitates the exchange of best practices, knowledge of industry trends, further education of its members and the public, and the opportunity to lead the development standards in the assistance dog industry.⁠⁠

Our Accreditation also allows our accredited instructors to test our teams to government standards.⁠

Throughout this week we'll be participating in the campaign and sharing from people within the PADS Community on why our ADI accreditation is important to them.⁠

Well, we have finally picked up our newest recruit! Everyone meet Jennifer corcho and her service dog in training miracle. We're so proud of this successful match and can't wait to begin her journey!

Here we have blue and Walter's first public access training! The weeks prior we worked on desensitization and socialization accompanied by task training. We have got to say we're so proud of both boys and their handlers for such amazing work! This is our mission, to provide service dogs to the disabled community. Unlimited stands for unlimited possibilities with us! We will perform a live training session this Friday at 12pm Pacific time. The reason why their name is masked is because both their handlers didn't want strangers to call them by name in public and try to distract them from their work. It truely is important that everyone please respect their decision to do this. We encourage you to test them while our trainers are present, but please be respectful as it's not safe to distract a service dog from their work.

Yesterday these two learnt how to maters the stairs. These two boys are doing so well we had compliments left right and centre! Blue had his first encounter with a dog lover and he did great! Went right back to Billie's side. Couldn't be more proud of these two! Next week they will be learning more in public so be sure to stay tuned! You may see us in your neighborhood!
