Tiny 12 week old Waffles trying to look all adorable and innocent..but she's got some sass! Its her first boarding stay and she is definitely not stressing lol! She's making friends with lots of stuffed toys and loving play time ❤️

Cody was back for another vacation! I'm sure its because he just missed me and wanted to hang out more lo!l As you can see in the pictures he was obviously loving the dog bed one of my clients donated! Such a good boy ❤️

Okay, I know I love pretty much every dog I meet lol, but I have to say, boarding Sadie here was such a treat! It was her first time boarding with me and she couldnt have been more perfect! ❤️ She had tons of fun lounging in the house, flinging around stuffed toys, and walking and bouncing around outside. Can't wait to hang out with her again!

Hi Everyone!

I just wanted to take a moment to introduce a new non-profit thrift shop I am starting in Georgina! (This will not be connected to my Shake A Leg business, except that it's me running both lol!) It is called PAWSITIVELY THRIFTY and will be a second-hand shop/online store where all profits are donated to various Ontario based animal rescues each month! As many of you may know, animal rescues are really struggling at the moment. An influx of pets being surrendered in recent years, combined with extremely low numbers of animal adoptions, has put a huge strain on animal shelters and rescue organizations. It takes A LOT of financial support to operate a rescue organization and I want to help!

I have many second-hand items of my own as well as other items donated by clients of mine (both new and used items) - so I decided it was time to try to make a difference for animals in need!

HOW WILL THE THRIFT SHOP WORK?

For now, I have created an ONLINE THRIFT SHOP! I have created a page where all items will be posted in photo albums with prices and a few details about each item. I also hope to create a website soon to showcase items as well, so that those not on Facebook can join in the fun and great deals! Items will range in price based on condition (lots of brand new items!) and what type of item they are - so there is something in everyone’s budget! But no matter the price point, all items will always be below retail cost (even the brand new items)! We will have all kinds of items including furniture, rugs, home decor, pet items, holiday decor, clothing, shoes, bags, jewellery, art and much more! And for those wishing to donate items at some point, I will definitely be looking for donated items in the next few months as we sell off some of the current items, but I currently have more items than I can store here lol!

Little Rosie had her first vacation sleeover with me recently and I'm so glad her mom was able to bring her for some visits ahead of time - it really made a huge difference! Since Rosie is a little shy, it took her a few visits to really get comfortable. And she did! So by the time her overnight trip came around, she was all ready to play with toys, cuddle, and run circles around me! All without missing her mom too much!

I did my first puppy visit/hangout with little Taco a few days back and she is such a cutie! I forgot how razor sharp tiny little puppy teeth are lol! But we still had lots of fun playing with all her toys, cuddling, and hanging in the backyard withTaco's big sister Noodle!

Miss Audrey! She came for a vacation with her sister
Rose and was such a good girl! She loves to cuddle when her sister Rose lets her get any of the attention and she would prefer that I carry her around if it's cold out lol! It was pretty chilly some of the days they were here so while we started out using Audrey's little sweater, as the week went on we graduated to using a few different outfits belonging to my slightly bigger pup Dudley. Long-time clients and two of my favs, Rose and Audrey, came for a vacation recently and had a blast staying at the house! Rose, the black lab mix, and I are pretty much opposites lol! Rose starts the day with endless energy...I start the day by rolling out of bed and just hoping all my limbs will work lol! Rose loves to run around constantly and is happy to headbutt you out of excitement if it means a little attention or cuddling! She has so much s***k, I can't believe she's already 8 years old! I'm looking forward to more years with these cuties! Next photos will be Rose's sister Audrey ❤️

Little cutie baby Rosie has started coming for mini daycare visits with me and she is so adorable! She's doing some extra visits to help get her ready for her first big girl sleepover next month! Remember if your dog is young, shy or nervous, it's always a great idea to plan some shorter visits with whoever will be watching your dog while you're on vacation to help ease your pup into things and make sure they're comfortable. Rosie's mom is a first time dog owner and doing a great job!

Jasper!!! I thought I had already posted him, but I guess not. One of my fav boys, Jasper came to visit a few times this summer and was a perfect gentleman ❤️ He did even better at the house than he does in the kennel (as his parents know, he is famous for deciding to taste test the dog door flaps at the kennel on one of his first stays here with me 😂). But he was a superstar at the house and was so well-behaved! And I love cuddling with this big happy go lucky, teddy bear of a dog, lol!
