Last, but certainly not least, say hi to Deanne, the heart-and-soul of BTVC! 🐾
She’s been working as an RVT for 18 years but has been at BTVC for 25+ years! She has a passion for behavioural medicine & nutrition.
Her most rewarding moment so far has been watching all her baby RVTs grow into amazing RVTs, and if she could have any animal as a pet, it would be dragon.

She makes our team better every single day! 🌟

Meet Jenise, one of the wonderful RVTs who helps out at Bridle Trail! 🩺🐾

Her primary clinic is Chartwell Veterinary Clinic, but we’re lucky to have her lend a hand with our team from time to time.

She’s been with us at BTVC for 9 years and shares her home with two adorable cats- Oliver & Theo. 🐱🐱

We always appreciate her expertise, teamwork, and positive energy whenever she’s here! 💙

Introducing Alina, one of the incredible RVTs on our team! 🩺🐾

She’s been in the field for 5 years and says her favourite part of the job is seeing all her sick patients get better.
When asked what she wishes more pet owners knew, her response was for them to know we care about your pet as much as you do!
Outside of work, she enjoys building Legos.

We’re grateful for everything she brings to the clinic! 💕

Meet Selena, our newest tech at BTVC!💙
She’s passionate about pathology & cytology and says the best part of her job is being greeted by wagging tails & purring!
Her favorite type of patient? Large doges but also enjoy exotics & wildlife🐾
When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll find her reading or being outdoors.
And here’s a fun fact: she can wiggle her ears & make a clover out of her tongue.

Give her some love in the comments! ✨

It’s time to spotlight Sharon! 🌟

She describes herself as a morning person, fueled by Monster energy drinks, and loves collecting orchids outside of work.

In the clinic, she is most interested in anesthesia, surgery & emergency care.

We couldn’t imagine our team without her! 🐶🐱

Next up for our “Meet the RVT” series - Brittany!👋

She became an RVT after doing a volunteer placement at TVEH & realizing she wanted to be a RVT and not a DVM and now has a special interest in client education, rehabilitation & behaviour.

Her favorite procedure is cystocenteses, and she has a soft spot for working with rescued pets as she has four herself.

Help us celebrate her this month! 🎉

We’re kicking off RVT Month with the first in our “Meet the RVT” series! 🎉🐾

Say hello to Eugenie, one of our amazing Registered Veterinary Technicians.
She has been an RVT for 5 years & with us for 6 years! She was inspired to become a RVT by her childhood love for animals.
Her favorite special area of interest is Emergency care, in patient nursing & surgery, and outside of the clinic you’ll often find her napping (😅), climbing & planning her next vacation adventure.

Stay tuned all month long as we introduce the rest of our incredible RVT team! 💙

🚨 LOST DOG– Meadowvale & Sheppard 🚨

Please help us find this little one! 🐾
A small, white Toy Poodle puppy (~7 lbs) went missing on Sept 14th around 9:45am in the Meadowvale & Sheppard area.

⚠️ The puppy is very anxious and skittish – DO NOT chase, approach, or call out. This could scare them into running into traffic.

👉 What you can do:

Keep your eyes open on walks (check the end of leashes too).

If you see the pup, take a photo if safe and call the number on the poster immediately.

Note the direction of travel.

Check your camera footage if you live nearby.

💖 Thank you for helping bring this pup home safe!

It’s Meet the Staff Monday has returned— and it’s me, Brittany! 🐾

Hi everyone! I’m one of the RVTs here at Bridle Trail Veterinary Clinic, and I also happen to be the one behind the scenes running our social media, so if you’ve ever laughed at a caption or seen a post about pet safety, that was probably me! 😄

Being an RVT means I get to wear a lot of hats — from monitoring anesthesia and assisting with surgeries to comforting nervous pets and educating clients. I love the fast pace, the teamwork, and most of all, getting to make a difference in the lives of both pets and their people.

Swipe through to learn a bit more about me — including how I got into vet med, what I love about working as a RVT, and a few fun facts you might not expect! 🐶💬

Thanks for following along — and for making our little corner of the internet such a pawsitive space 💙
